WonderWorks is an attraction that combines education with entertainment - called "edutainment." The first thing visitors notice about WonderWorks is that the buildings are built to as to appear upside down (the idea is to challenge one's mind of apparent reality). It is a science and education-themed indoor amusement park and has plenty for everyone of all ages. It is located just next to the impressive Titanic Museum (another must when visiting Pigeon Forge).

WonderWorks has a number of branches around the country (including Branson, Missouri). They have numerous interactive exhibits that enable guests to learn about natural phenomena and experience them firsthand. In all, there are over 100 hands-on exhibits at WonderWorks. They are designed to challenge visitors' minds and spark their imaginations.

WonderWorks - The Edu-Tainment Attraction Of Pigeon Forge

"This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda Triangle. An experiment gone awry lifted the laboratory, carrying it to Music Drive in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee where it landed upside down. Luckily, all of the exhibits remained intact and available for guests to explore."

WonderWorks Pigeon Forge

WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge is considered one of the top things to do in Pigeon Forge, being one of the town's best attractions. It is also massive, with some 42,000 square feet of "edutainment." Walk into their upside-down building with the ceiling under one's feet and the floor over one's head and explore. They have six Wonder Zones offering tons of family fun.

Experiences include feeling 71 mph hurricane force winds at their Hurricane Shack, experiencing zero gravity, getting some NASA treatment at the Astronaut Training Gyro, and much more (like lying on the death-defying Bed of Nails).

Think of it as a science fair, an amusement park, and a children's museum all rolled into one.

It is a great activity for team-building events, homeschool groups, scouting troops, large families, and student groups. They also have several birthday party packages offering loads of fun - party options include laser tag, pizza, soda, arcade game cards, a fully stocked party room, and, of course, general admission.

Visitors can expect to spend between two and four hours experiencing the various exhibits and attractions in WonderWorks' massive building.

The Ropes Course is the largest in the world and is over 50 feet tall. Climb up four stories and cross tremor bridges, and swinging beams, and overcome over 50 obstacles.
