The first person to fly was - not the Wright Brothers. The Wright Brothers only made the first "controlled, sustained flight of a powered, heavier-than-air aircraft." The first people to fly were the French Montgolfier brothers in the 18th century - over a hundred years before the Wright Brothers.

  • Hot Air Balloon: The First Flying Aircraft

They did this by creating a lighter-than-air hydrogen balloon and they are known for making the first confirmed human flight in a Montgolfière-style hot air balloon. As a tribute to this, Paris Las Vegas has a sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon.

Paris Las Vegas doesn't want to be just another cheap Paris knock-off, it really tries to give an authentic Parisian experience with attention to detail down to the cobblestone streets. The uneven flooring mimics cobblestones throughout the shopping area and other parts of the casino. If one is coming in clubbing heels, it may be a little tricky to walk on.

Staying in Paris Las Vegas one will see how the "City of Light" meets the city of sin (or Sin City). It is superbly located right on the heart of the Strip. Of course, the casino has more than just French replicas and mock-ups.
