Leila's Hair Museum is located in Independence, Missouri, and it is what it sounds like: a place full of actual hair! There are pieces of art and jewelry made out of locks from long ago, including a brooch from the year 1680. If anyone finds themselves in or around Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, they should get ready to see some trolls. Yes, this place considers itself to be the troll capital of the world, and there are various statues and structures depicting these creatures that can be found around town.

Up next is Wells Dinosaur Haven, which should appeal to many, since dinos are popular prehistoric creatures. Located in Uncasville, Connecticut, it is a backyard that is full of handmade, life-size dinosaur sculptures, and the artist responsible for this attraction lives and works on the premises!

11 A Land Themed Around Mr. Paul Bunyan 

Paul Bunyan Land is an amusement park, which can be found in Brainerd, Minnesota. While there are rides and such in this land, the main attraction is a 26-foot-tall animatronic statue of Paul Bunyan himself, which welcomes children by name as they enter the park.

10 This, Well, Hole In This Rock 

In Moab, Utah, people can find Hole N' The Rock, a 5,000-square-foot home carved out of a rock. There is also an exotic zoo, an art collection, locally made Native American gifts, a general store with ice cream and souvenirs to enjoy, as well.

9 A Three-Story Castle Built Over 60 Years By One Man

Another roadside attraction that could be a stop along the way would be Bishop Castle.

It is in Rye, Colorado. It was built and named after a man named Jim Bishop. And it is super elaborate, with details such as arched windows and towers (including one that is over 160 feet tall).

8 An Abandoned Igloo 

Some find abandoned buildings to be creepy, while others think they are cool. One such building is the Igloo City in Cantwell, Alaska; it was built in the 1970s, but it was never finished. So, now, this four-story concrete structure sits, just waiting for visitors.

7 An Open-Air Museum In The Middle Of The Desert 

The Goldwell Open Air Museum is a sculpture park in the middle of the desert (technically in Beatty, Nevada, near the ghost town of Rhyolite).

Some of the art includes The Last Supper, with ghost-like forms, Desert Flower, which is made out of chrome car parts, and Lady Desert: The Venus of Nevada, a cinder block piece that is made to look pixelated.

Da Yoopers Tourist Trap, in Ishpeming, Michigan, is made up of a rock shop, a unique gift store and a collection of things that can't be found anywhere else; for instance, in this one-of-a-kind spot, guests can see the largest working chainsaw and the largest working rifle on the planet!
