What To Expect

The world has seen many amazing stories being brought to life from the Lord of the Rings to The Wizard of Oz, but there’s one reason the Harry Potter story stands out. It’s the fact that one can learn how those amazing scenes from the book were brought to life. Many attractions around the world offer this experience but none is as immersive as the Warner Bros Studio Tour London. While there are many locations around the world used in the movie, this studio located in the U.K. is the filming location for all Harry Potter films and within the studio is an extensive collection of all the equipment and costumes that were used in the making of the films.

The adventure begins from Victoria Coach Station where visitors will be taken on an air-conditioned bus to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter, where they’ll be taken through the process of the entire filmmaking. The magic of this tour begins at the entrance to the studio as guests will be presented with sights of unique materials and a fantasy atmosphere.

The tour leads visitors through the society of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter while offering the opportunities to perform some tricks like riding a broomstick, waving a wand, lifting a broomstick from the ground magically, and many other interesting things from the movie.

The Hogwarts Express was an important part of the transportation of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter which is why it is not left out of the experience. On the Tour, visitors will be brought to the surreal Kings Cross Station where the Hogwarts Express and the actual Platform 9¾ are located.

In a Wizard world, there’s always a wizard forest, and the Harry Potter wizard world was no exception. It was known as the Forbidden Forest and scenes from this site were some of the creepiest in the movie. At the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, visitors will have an opportunity to enter this forest and witness some spookiness from the movie that had viewers in the arms of their chairs. Witnessing this forest in real life does not make it any less scary. It is even scarier as the unique lighting, the darkness, and the several moving objects will make every turn frightening.

The next stop is the potions class with Professor Snape where one will learn how to make some concoctions. The class includes a collection of mysterious pots and equipment that make it look like an actual wizard workshop. As the tour progresses, it makes its way into the creatures' workshop where the prosthetics and numerous scary creatures from the movie were created. Take a walk around the workshop to see the goblins, the dragon, the talking trees, and other scary creatures.

Not everybody has wealth saved for them; but for those like Harry Potter who have been left a wealthy inheritance, Gringotts Wizarding Bank is the next place to go. Here, guests will be met with well-suited Goblins who are ever ready to lead customers to their treasures in the vault. Even visitors who do not have any money to withdraw from the bank can wander through the impressive banking hall to get an up-close view of the marble pillars, the hanging chandeliers, and the stunning art designs on the floor.

Diagon Alley must not be forgotten as it is one of the most important parts of the whole tour. While taking a walk through the wizarding shopping street, visitors can stop by the various wizard shops and admire their thriving businesses.
