Disney World pools are completely different from your standard, run-of-the-mill hotel pools. In fact, they could be considered an attraction themselves! 10 Big Blue Pool - Disney's Art of Animation

If you have little ones in tow, this Finding Nemo-themed pool is sure to be a hit. It's decorated with all of your favorite characters from the classic Pixar film, making what would be a regular pool more whimsical and fun. Although, even without the decorations, the Big Blue Pool isn't exactly "regular" -- at 308,527 gallons of water, it's the largest pool out of all of the resorts!

The tiniest of the family can splash and play in the "Schoolyard Playground," and "Squirt's Righteous Reef" is the perfect dry playground to hang out in for those who are tired of the water. Fat chance that'll happen, though, especially when the pool plays underwater music!

9 Uzima Springs Pool – Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

This pool is one of Disney's largest pools, with 234,980 gallons of water. The kids will enjoy the 67-foot water slide, while the adults will enjoy the nearby lounge/bar. Not to mention the hot tubs, which are romantically shaded by palm trees and other greenery.

Your kids can run around and enjoy the activities geared towards their age, but you'll still be able to tuck into a more private, romantic spa. Remember, this hotel is known for the animals running free nearby! You may spot a flamingo or two if you do some exploring!

8 Copper Creek Springs - Disney's Wilderness Lodge

First things first: this pool is heated. We repeat, this pool is heated! If you're not in the mood for heat, you can also choose from both hot and cold whirlpool spas. Disney has recently added an activity play area for kids to enjoy, but most kids will probably be distracted by the 67-foot waterslide.

You also get a perfect view of the Wilderness Lodge Fire Rock Geyser, which erupts on the hour from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Of course, you're situated right by the Geyser Point Bar & Grill, where you can order food and drinks to consume on your lounge chair or one of the many patio tables available.

7 Ol' Man Island - Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside

If you're all about the aesthetics, you'll love this pool. It's designed to look exactly like an abandoned sawmill, and you must cross one of three wooden bridges available to reach the water. Then, of course, there's the 95-foot waterslide that's also completely on-theme.

There's a kiddie tub for the children, but you might opt for the whirlpool tub or the Muddy Rivers pool bar. Each day, there's a pool party during the day and a campfire during the evening. Some nights, they even have movie screenings! There are also plenty of hammocks to lounge in as your child pretends to fish with the catch-and-release fishing area.

6 Fuentes del Morro Pool - Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

This pool has not only one, but two waterslides -- one of which is 102 feet long. There are also tons of mini-slides for little ones throughout the "shipwreck" decor. In fact, the shipwreck in the middle of the pool serves as an entire play area.

While your kids are busy shooting off water cannons, you can retreat to the spa pool -- which seats up to 12 people -- and sip on a drink from the Banana Cabana pool bar. This outdoor area themed after a colonial Spanish fortress is ideal for both kids and adults!

5 Samawati Springs Pool - Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Sure, there's a bar nearby that will offer refreshments and snacks, but what will really sell you on this pool is the whopping, 128-foot waterslide! That's big enough for kids and adults to enjoy! If it's a bit too intense for your kids, there's also "Uwanja Camp," which features three water stations catered toward different age groups.

"Observation Station" is for kids age four and under, "Departure Zone" is for children ages 5 to 7, and "Base Camp" is for children age eight and up. Base Camp involves water cannons, so if your child is mischevious, watch out!

4 Lava Pool - Disney's Polynesian Resort

There are many pros to the Lava Pool. For one, it's right across from the Magic Kingdom. You'll get an amazing view of the park. Then, there's a luxurious infinity-edge hot tub to relax in.

Smaller children can toddle around in the Tiki-themed water play area, while older kids will be psyched to check out the giant volcano structure that is unarguably the biggest stand-out of the pool area. You can climb on it, which kids always find fun, but the highlight is for sure the 142 feet long waterslide. Most likely, your kids will be more distracted by that!

3 Beach Pool - Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

There are some people that like to lay on the beach. There are some people who prefer to lie down by the pool. Some people are fine with both! With the Beach Pool, you get the best of both worlds.

There's a walking bridge that leads you to the water, which is absolutely perfect for a photo op. The decor is that of a natural springs area, even with waterfalls! You can't get more relaxing than that. Of course, there's also a 181-foot-long waterslide, a poolside bar, and an Alice in Wonderland-themed water play area for the kids.

2 Stormalong Bay - Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts

The pool is so large that it's shared between both the Beach and Yacht Club resorts! The pool has sand in the bottom, completely immersing you in a beach-like setting. There's also a shipwreck decor like at the Caribbean Beach resort. The difference? The waterslide attached to the ship is an astonishing 230 feet long!

If you need to calm down from the thrills, there's a relaxing lazy river, three whirlpool spas, and an elevated deck to tan on. There's also an entirely separate pool to play volleyball in! There's no way you can get bored here.

1 The Lost City of Cibolo Pool - Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Coronado Springs is Disney's latest resort, but has already made its mark with its iconic pool. The pool area is themed after Mayan ruins, so naturally, there is a 50-foot pyramid on display. The waterslide on-site is 123 feet long and has the head of a Jaguar.

The Lost City of Cibolo pool is also the home of the largest hot tub out of all of the resorts, able to seat up to 22 people. There's a pool bar, an arcade, a kiddie pool, a play area, and a sand volleyball court. Suffice to say, this pool area has set a new standard for Disney World resorts!
