Scarborough State Beach

Extending along Narragansett's coastline to point Judith, travelers can find Scarborough State Beach. This park encompasses 60 acres and offers saltwater bathing picnicking, an observation tower, and a boardwalk.

Point Judith Lighthouse

Point Judith is found at the western entrance to Narragansett Bay where two bodies of water meet. The area is often full of water traffic making the lighthouse an essential tool for keeping boats safe. The waters around Point Judith can be very cold and a bit dangerous adding to the importance of the lighthouse. Travelers can visit the lighthouse to take photos and enjoy its aesthetic beauty.

Block Island Ferry

The Block Island Ferry offers a convenient and quick way to make a road trip out to Rhode Island’s Block Island. Travelers have the choice of two ferries, the traditional ferry that required about 55 minutes to reach the island and the high-speed ferry that requires about 30 minutes to reach the island. Once on Block Island visitors can make a day out of renting bicycles or motorized scooters to ride around the island, or simply take in the sights of its coastline and enjoy some delicious seafood.

The Coast Guard House is a staple of Narragansett. It is located near Narragansett’s famous archway and is quite accessible by most of the hotels in the area as well as Narraganset Town Beach.
