Criticism is a huge part of both the travel industry and the hospitality industry. Even the best hotels out there can’t escape a few bad reviews. Check out the negative things guests had to stay about these prestigious hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Bellagio Hotel And Casino: “Worst Customer Service At Check-In I Had In Years”

A five-star hotel with a near five-star rating on TripAdvisor, The Bellagio is one of the most prestigious hotels on the Strip, renowned around the world for its famous water show that takes place every night. While most guests rave about the hotel, it’s not totally free from negative online reviews.

One TripAdvisor reviewer claimed that the customer service at The Bellagio was the worst he’d had in years. In his review, he detailed that the hotel had trouble checking him in because they could not find his reservation in December of 2019. When they finally sorted the problem out, they told him that he would be denied access to the exclusive lounge area, even though he was previously told he’d gain entry because of his status as a rewards member with the Hyatt.

The biggest complaint that the reviewer left, though, was that the view from his standard room (shown in the picture) was unpleasant and mundane.

The Venetian Resort: “Water Costs You $5”

The Italian-inspired Venetian Resort is another prestigious hotel on the Strip. Iconic for its Venetian scenery, complete with gondolas and canals, the hotel attracts streams of guests every year. But they don’t all leave feeling as they’ve just been to Venice. One TripAdvisor reviewer took to the platform to share their disgust at the high prices of the amenities and products inside the hotel.

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas: “Never Again”

The Four Seasons chain has a strong reputation for being one of the best hotel brands right around the globe. The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas leaves a positive impression on most guests who stay there. We did, however, find a few reviewers who were less than impressed.

After staying at The Four Seasons in December of 2018, “Denaki” took to TripAdvisor to leave a scathing review of the hotel’s housekeeping service. The review claims that their bedsheets and towels weren’t changed for six days. They also complained of a lot of dust and a hairdryer in the bathroom, which they described as being “very dangerous”.

Wynn Las Vegas: “One Hour And 20 Minute Wait To Check-In”

Wynn Las Vegas Guest Relations reached out to the reviewer on TripAdvisor and made it clear that they would get in contact with the reviewer to assess the matter further.

The Nobu Hotel: “So Disappointing”

The Nobu Hotel is a little different from many other hotels on the Strip in that it’s actually located within another iconic Las Vegas hotel: Caesar’s Palace. But it is like every other hotel on the Strip in that it’s received negative reviews in the past, despite its positive reputation.

A TripAdvisor reviewer who stayed at the Nobu in April 2019 said that the stay was “so disappointing” due to the room being unclean. She described the furniture as being “beat up”, the dresser having water damage, dried liquid on the floor in front of the toilet, and a bathtub that didn’t drain. The photo included shows the hairdryer bag, which appeared to be covered in toothpaste of makeup. NEXT: 10 Las Vegas Hotels That Are Too Extravagant To Be True
