Las Vegas is brimming with just about everything one could hope of thinking of. There is everything from visiting old American nuclear test sites where many nukes were detonated, to day trips to the Grand Canyon, to everything that earns the Sin City its name.

When it comes to dining, for those not on a diet, consider dining at the infamous Las Vegas Heart Attack Grill. If one is interested in visiting the nuclear test site (called the Nevada National Security Site) then one needs to apply in advance and space is very limited - but it's free.

Police Chase Las Vegas

For something different in Vegas, try putting the pedal to the metal with some high-speed fun. Police Chase Las Vegas boasts one of the largest fleets of law enforcement vehicles of any organization outside the government agencies. Their collection includes SWAT vehicles, Police Cars, and a Fire Engine.

  • Collection: Includes SWAT Vehicles, Police Cars, Fire Engines

They give visitors the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a cop car (or a getaway car) and then partake in a full lights-on and siren pursuit. One can attempt PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique) maneuvers and other chase techniques used by law enforcement during high-speed chases. They say:

"Imagine The adrenaline rush of a high-speed pursuit, flashing lights, and a blaring siren as radio traffic crackles across the still air within the police car during the chase."

Before the chase, participants are given classroom instructions and hands-on safety training. Training includes all areas of defensive, pursuit driving, and reactionary driving. The training program is mostly passed on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s “Emergency Vehicle Obstacle Course” officer training program.

Instructors: All Former or Current Police Officers

All the instructors are former (or even current) police officers who have tactical driving skills and/or the Emergency Vehicle Obstacle Course (EVOC).

There is a range of experiences to choose from. Some of them are:

Roll Code Police Chase: One can choose to drive either the police car or the getaway car. The guests are split among the chase car and the police cars. It starts with radio traffic coming over the speaker describing a suspect vehicle. And then the chase begins.

  • Option: Drive or Ride With A Pro
  • Cost: From $199.00 (5 Laps - Select How Many Laps Wanted)

Tactical Ramming Pit Maneuver: Again, choose to be in the police car that performs the pit maneuver or drive in the getaway car and get spun out. The PIT maneuver is the tactic where the police force a fleeing car to abruptly turn sideways forcing the driver to stop.

  • Option: Drive The Car That Gets Spun Out or Ride In The Cop Car
  • Cost: From $125 (5 Pits - Select How Many Pits)
