While there are promises of drinks and food is included in the overall price, sometimes that food isn't actually that good. And while tourists are going to expect to see the ocean from their hotel room, sometimes that's not what happens at all.

Thankfully, many people have shared reviews on Trip Advisor and let the rest of us know about the best places to go. There are many all-inclusive resorts in Costa Rica, but there are just a few that are truly worth booking a stay at.

Florblanca Resort

The Florblanca Resort has 380 reviews on Trip Advisor and is located in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. There are many five-star reviews for this all-inclusive resort and there have been many satisfied travelers who have loved staying here. People love that you can do Pilates and yoga here, and the environment is both beachy and also a jungle atmosphere, which is lovely. According to the hotel website, a one-bedroom villa is $600/night.

This all-inclusive resort has it all, from hammocks for total relaxation to being right on the beach. There is a spa where you can get massages, vegan food if you have food allergies or dietary preferences, and one reviewer even said they made their friend a birthday cake from scratch.

One reviewer stated, "You simply cannot get a better, more beautiful beach resort experience anywhere in Costa Rica. The staff was very professional, well trained, and highly accommodating." They got to stay in the Honeymoon Suite and wrote, "It was incredible. a two-story villa overlooking the sand with large open spaces and windows."

This glowing review of the food at this resort definitely makes you want to book a trip right away: "For breakfast, we would recommend the Arugula Omelette, for lunch the Ahi Salad, and dinner pick the catch of the day! You really can't go wrong with any of the food."

A one-bedroom called the Mot Mot Hideaway is $195/night if you stay here from the end of August until mid-November and prices vary at different times of the year.

The resort is on the Manuel Antonio coast and you can stay in Buena Vista Luxury Villas that have one, two, and three bedrooms. There are also other types of villas plus bungalows. Because this is located in the rainforest, it's hard to beat this location.

Tulemar Resort is also worth the price for the views. The reviewer who took the above photo from his room wrote, "My family’s short-but-sweet, two-night stay in Tule Villa was a memory of a lifetime. The views are breath-taking from this three-story, five-bedroom villa." He added, "Besides the gorgeous views of the sunrise and the sunset on the ocean, it was amazing to observe the wildlife while enjoying our drinks."

Another reviewer notes that they saw monkeys during their time here and that the food at TuleCafe is amazing. Another fan of the resort said that they came here with their family and their seven and five-year-old children enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds, sloths, and other animals.

TuleCafe offers breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. For breakfast, guests can order everything from Homemade Fresh Crepes and Mango to French Toast and the "Tico Breakfast" which has "Fresh made gallo pinto, 2 eggs prepared any style, fried sweet plantains, sour cream, avocado, and fresh tortillas."
