When it comes time for beverage service people are either asleep or awake. Some guests think of flying as their personal bar service. It would be helpful if flight attendants noted which passengers seem intoxicated before take-off or boarding, and reduced the amount of alcohol those passengers consume.

5 During Long Flights Reduce The Lights

Long flights are especially hard. Once the food and beverage service is done, once the movies and shows are all watched, the next thing left to do is sleep. Or try to sleep anyways. However, if flight attendants lower cabin lights, and requests passengers to close the shades it helps.

4 Inform Passengers When They Might See Something Cool Out The Window

Nothing makes passengers more excited than when a pilot or flight attendant announces during the flight that the plane will be flying overhead something cool. People can lean to look out the window seat. Not only does it momentarily increase joy and excitement onboard, but it just makes the flight feel extra special.

3 Ask People To Keep Their Seat Backs Up During Food Service

Economy class seats may appear to be getting smaller, but so is the amount of personal space everyone shares on a plane. One that can help make things better is if, during in-flight food or beverage service, the flight attendants asked passengers with reclined seats to move their seats back into an upright position.

2 Break Up Long Flights By Serving Water

Meals are not guaranteed on all long flights, but for flights that don't offer meal service, a beverage service in the form of drinking water would be nice. Not only would it help to make the time go by but feeling hydrated would increase everyone's mood. Passengers would feel less unappreciated.

A smile makes everything better. There's a lot involved with not missing a flight. There's going through security, finding your gate, waiting, even surprise gate changes, but all the stress suddenly melts away once at the door of the plane and the flight attendant greets each passenger with a genuine smile.
