Everyone's first instinct when it comes to Vegas is to hit the slots. Sin City may be known for its casinos and nightclubs, but there is just as much fun to be had during the day. That's right— we're talking pool parties.

Las Vegas hotels offer insane pool party extravaganzas, complete with booze, DJs, and even celebrities. Unfortunately, some of these festivities get bypassed in the rush to hit the jackpot. What you didn't know is that by skipping out on these pool parties, you're already missing out. So if you are looking for your days to be as wild and care-free as your nights, make sure to stop by at least a few of the best pool parties in Las Vegas.

10 Influence

Where: The LINQ

When: Monday-Friday (with raging parties kicking off on Saturday and Sunday)

Influence day club at The LINQ is the perfect starter pool party. During the week, the atmosphere is pretty mellow, but you can enjoy fruity cocktails by the poolside with no extra cover or lounge charges. Things are kicked into high gear on Saturday and on Sunday, Influence offers brunch.

In collaboration with the Taco Shop, pool attendees can enjoy bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, doughnuts, and other eateries that you wouldn't expect to find at this affluent spot.

9 Marquee Dayclub

Where: The Cosmopolitan

When: All week long (with DJs reserved for the weekends)

This rooftop pool deck at the Cosmopolitan has some of the best views of the city. These parties go on night and day and the atmosphere can get pretty intense. You'll want to join in the fun on the weekends when today's hottest DJs set up shop.

On Sundays, they have a festival called Beatwave where these rising DJs turn the chill, pool-side deck into a booming playground.

8 Kaos

Where: The Palms

When: Thursday-Sunday

Inside The Palms, there's a chic, technicolor nightclub, but nowadays, guests are flocking to the pool parties. This may be partly because you can find the likes of Cardi B. and Skrillex hanging out in one of the two-story cabanas, but the parties are a beast of their own.

Their Sunday night pool party, SOAK, is one of their best features. The light night gettogether is hosted by artists like Marshmello and Above & Beyond who help kick off a Sunday night unlike any other in Las Vegas.

7 Jemma

Where: NoMad Las Vegas

When: Friday-Sunday

Jemma is an exclusive rooftop pool party that only happens on the weekends within the Park MGM. From their champagne bongs to their Barbie doll garnished cocktails, Jemma is a raging event that you won't soon forget (unless you order a cocktail explosion).

This pool party sets itself apart from the others with their massive pizza-shaped inflatables, dual dance floors, and star-studded appearances. It's no wonder that Jemma is the place to be on the weekends.

6 Wet Republic

Where: MGM Grand

When: Thursday-Sunday

Wet Republic is the raging day club party where champagne showers are emblematic and Calvin Harris performs most weekends.

This one is probably the most insane, jam-packed pool party on the strip, but like most good things, it's worth the wait. There's also a Hot 100 bikini contest that takes place on the weekends.

5 Liquid Pool

Where: Aria

When: Wednesday-Sunday

Liquid is on the other side of the pool party spectrum. It's an intimate yet deluxe, lounge pool-side party that offers upbeat tech music and champagne showers.

Their new "On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink" party encourages guests to come join in the pink-attire blowout with a Watermelon Coller or Pomegranate Margarita in hand.

4 Tao Beach

Where: Venetian

When: All week long (but you'll have the most fun on the weekends)

Tao Beach offers one of Las Vegas' most exorbitant and flashy poolside entertainments. Its Asian-themed facade isn't the only luxury it has to offer; along with lush cabanas and fruitful cocktails, you can also get a massage.

Tao Beach is the original Vegas pool party, which is why this is the only place where Playboy Fridays happen. During the season, Bunny servers will bring you your champagne, and sometimes the official Playboy Playmates will stop by for a summer swim.

3 Daylight Beach Club

Where: Mandalay Bay

When: Thursday-Sunday

Between their Rose Thursdays (a girls' day themed event) and their Lit Sundays, the Daylight Beach Club has a slew of opportunities to indulge in. It's easily accessible through their very own parking lot, though you may have trouble getting in with artists like Rick Ross and OoKay headlining their stage.

Along with VIP bungalows and cabanas, they have a massive 4,000 square foot pool and the corresponding Light nightclub with live music by Snoop Dog (aka DJ Snoopadelic).

2 Drai's Beachclub

Where: The Cromwell

When: Monday-Sunday

Rap and R&B music can be heard thumping from the Cromwell's massive rooftop pool deck. If you're a high-roller, you can have access to your own VIP bungalow that comes equipped with your very own pool. But the fun is down on the main level where Drai's pool is flanked by bubbling hot tubs, palm trees, and lush pink lunge chairs. And on top of it all, the views of Drai's Beachclub simply cannot be beat.

Their Swim Night happens on Thursdays, with live performances by up-and-coming artists.

1 Go Pool

Where: The Flamingo

When: Seven days a week

Go Pool is literally the go-to pool party on the Las Vegas Strip. Their music choices are diverse, giving a broader appeal to the guests who might find their way to the Flamingo's laid-back pool deck. There's a high-roller room nearby for those who want to get a quick fix, or you can stay and enjoy performances from headliners like Coolio, Jesse McCartney, or DJ Koko and Bayati.

Go Pool's lagoon oasis has events going on almost every day, from Twisted Tuesdays and Throwback Thursdays to Swimdustry Wednesdays. Cover charge is $10 for non-guests and they have drink specials, contests, and giveaways on a regular basis. You never know what this day club might have in store.
