A new app called SkyHi that offers flights for as little as $35 has quickly become a hit with young travelers.

Young adults travel further and more often than their parents and grandparents ever did at their age. For the most part anyway. There are a number of reasons for that. More expendable income, people settling down and starting families later in life, and most importantly, traveling to different parts of the world is far easier today than it was 30 years ago.

The one stumbling block that often stops young people traveling as much as they'd like is ticket prices. Finding somewhere to stay for a reasonable price once you arrive at a destination isn't usually a problem. There are hostels, Airbnb, and a number of different comparison sites out there to help people find the best deal. When it comes to flights, especially if it's going to be a long trip, that's not so easy.

That's where new travel app SkyHi wants to try and help. While you can get a subscription of pretty much anything from streaming services to postal order cheese, SkyHi offers travelers the chance to have a membership for flying. That membership will allow customers the chance to purchase flights up to 1000 miles long for as little as $35, and flights to places 2000 miles away for just $75, reports Grit Daily.

There are a few catches, but how could there not be for a deal this good? Flights can only be booked up to 30 days in advance, and the list of destinations only includes 90 locations. We say "only", personally we actually think that's a lot of options. Enough to keep even the busiest traveler occupied for a few years at least.

The 90 locations are dotted all around Europe and the US. SkyHi's creators added a wealth of cities this year after the success of the app during its first 12 months in 2018. They also revealed that, as expected, SkyHi has been particularly popular with millennials traveling for "bleisure." That is exactly what it sounds like, traveling to a city for business reasons but also taking in the sights while you're there. And all for the low, low price of $35, plus membership fees.
