The rescue took 90 minutes, but both captain and passenger survived to talk about the harrowing ordeal and share pictures.

While at a ski resort in Italy, a man lost his skis while skiing, but still slid down uncontrollably down the steep mountain at a fast rate of speed. 2 Snow Groomer Runs Over Small Boy

In what was considered an unfortunate freak accident, a young boy was run over by a snow groomer and trapped in the machine for over 90 minutes. The security camera footage of this tragedy would have been necessary for determining what exactly happened. The family of the boy later went on to sue the ski resort.

1 A Terrifying Fall Straight Into The Snow

One of the scariest things about falling is being attached to something that's falling too. A couple of people were seriously injured when their chairlift detached from the line and fell straight into the snow below.
