People don't always enjoy when their hometown become tourist destinations because they appeared in films... but New Yorkers seem pretty chill about the fact that their city is the setting for many favorite sitcoms and dramas.

TV fans will want to check out these locations in NYC.

Of Course, You Have To See The Friends Apartment Building IRL

According to Digital Spy, Friends used a studio in Los Angeles for scenes inside Rachel and Monica's apartment, along with Chandler and Joey's place. But when viewers saw the building's outside, the location is 90 Bedford Street in NYC's West Village. Digital Spy says this building is "on the southeast corner of Grove Street and Bedford Street."

If we've taken a tour of the Village, we've probably been taken to this building. If not, we should definitely put it on our list of things to do in NYC because it's just one of those sights that you definitely have to see.

You can even search the website by sour or gummy candy and order all kinds of treats if you want to follow in the Gossip Girl characters' footsteps.
