By now, Schitt's Creek has undoubtedly become one of the most popular shows on Netflix. The concept of this show is unique and we can all somewhat relate to the Rose family's woes as we've probably all fallen on hardships at some point. Although their problems are heightened and dramatized, the situations they get themselves in when they move to Schitt's Creek is hilarious and awkward.

Often, TV shows tend to portray fake towns and Schitt's Creek is one of them. Viewers might be bummed to know they can't visit the real thing, but fortunately, there's a real town that bears a striking resemblance: Sharon Springs. Located in upstate New York, this slice of heaven features a cozy cafe and shops that David Rose himself might hang out in. Among others, this small town is one for the bucket list, as it's a place where tourists can enjoy the camaraderie and charm Sharon Springs has to offer.

In the beginning, Sharon Springs was a bustling town, filled with people of wealth that kept businesses going and lived their lives. What attracted these families to settle here was that it housed some of America's most beautiful mineral springs that were scattered around town. At one point, this small town attracted the likes of Oscar Wilde and the Vanderbilt family because of the spas.

3 Beekman 1802 Mercantile, Run By A Same-Sex Couple, Sells Artisan Goods

One of the most popular stores on the block is Mercantile 1802. Owned and operated by a same-sex male couple, this seems like this is straight out of a scene from the show. They sell local artisan items, and use their goat farm to make soap. If it wasn't for the different store name, it might be hard to tell this company and Rose Apothecary apart.
