In anticipation for the upcoming second season of Netflix’s Queer Eye, the Fab 5 - Antoni Porowsi, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Tan France - all took a trip down under. The group of five fashionistas made their way to the Australian capital of Canberra for promotional events, as well as some makeovers, and during their trip made a pit stop in the town of Yass. Yass, you read that right. To thank the Fab 5 for visiting, the town of Yass put up a billboard in their honor, and even went so far as to crown the stars of the popular Netflix revival as “Yass Queens”.

The guys' first official duty as Yass Queens was to perform their specialty and makeover a Yass resident, according to The Canberra Times.

They made over a local farmer named George, who was nominated by his son Levi. George - a former bull rider - was treated to the spa, grooming tips, and a haircut from Jonathan; received a new wardrobe from a local clothing store thanks to Tan; Bobby and Antoni transformed the food and interior of local pub the Clubhouse Hotel; and Karamo provided George with some advice on how to make a proper work and family balance.

George’s reveal took place in front of friends, family, and locals.

"We found Yass extremely charming," Karamo told The Australian. "When we travel, some of the people who love and support the show can get a little aggressive with us. But every single person here was so kind and full of love, it reminded us of the small towns across Georgia where we shot the first two seasons."

The Fab 5 spent other parts of their time down under cuddling koalas and wombats at Featherdale Wildlife Park in Doonside, Australia.

Queer Eye’s second season will once again bend the rules of its parent show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy by including a transgender man, a woman, and a gay man in its follow-up season available on Netflix June 15.

Thanks to the Fab 5, we’re sure the town of Yass will be getting the royal treatment from future visiting Queer Eye fans.
