Visit B&H Dairy In The East Village For Breakfast Or Lunch

There are many amazing restaurants in the East Village and B&H Dairy is a place that has to be visited. NY Eater says that the owners are Fawzy Abdelwahed, who is of Egyptian-Muslim background, and Ola Smigielska, who is Polish. The menu has a delicious variety of dishes. Even just starting with soup, there's a lentil, cabbage, matzo ball, and hot borscht. Hungry for a sweet breakfast? Order Challah French Toast or Blueberry Pancakes. You can also get Potato Pancakes with sour cream or applesauce. Lunch-friendly dishes include Tuna Melts, Grilled Cheese, and Vegetarian Lasagna.

According to New York Magazine, this is a small place that has been around for several decades, and there is even homemade juice or shots of wheatgrass if you're more health-conscious. Of course, there are other restaurants that we'll want to visit (and others to take off our list), but we want to go to B&H Dairy, that's for sure.
