Due to its iron staircases, it is not only a typical representation of the city, but also its colonial-era homes stand out from the surrounding buildings. Last but not least, it is nothing more than a bridge that was constructed in 1907 to link what was formerly a hospital with its annex.

Pomander Walk, another gated neighborhood, is situated between West End and Broadway Avenue. It is possible that tourists will not believe their eyes when they glance through the fence. It appears as though the residences on this little street are straight out of a Disney film. This is because Thomas Healy, who purchased the property in 1920, was motivated by a romantic comedy piece called Pomander Walk, which was set in a retired crescent of five extremely modest, old-fashioned houses near Chiswick. After being partitioned into apartments, the houses were finally landmarked in 1982.
