Originally created as a WWII and Korean War memorial in 1964, the fountain now serves as a memorial for any soldier from Cleveland, missing or dead, from 1899 through the present day.

The fountain features a man rising up from the Earth and four sculptures below (representing America, Europe, Africa, and Asia).

7 Stan Hywet Hall And Gardens, Akron

Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is another stunning spot in Akron, Ohio, where visitors snap some stellar pictures.

1 Lorain West Breakwater Lighthouse, Lorain

This charming lighthouse, commonly referred to as “Jewel of the Port,” has been voted Best Lake Erie Lighthouse nine years in a row. With its red roof, gray shutters, and American flag flying from the roof, this delightful lighthouse is worth photographing.

If you visit during the summer, you can take a boat ride up to the lighthouse and take a tour. In winter, you can still capture some cool landscape pictures of the lighthouse from further away.
