Marriott recently offered new members a free night at its hotels after two stays and it seems as if that offer has now returned.

If you are anything like us, then you likely walk around with a lot of cards in your wallets and purses that you don't need. They go everywhere with you and have either never been used or have lain dormant for a year or more. Old credit cards, a library card perhaps, but above all loyalty cards. Cards for an array of different establishments that are intended to keep you coming back for more.

If you were to open up your purse or wallet now and take a look at all the loyalty and rewards cards you have, could you name what you're actually collecting points for? If you can, kudos first of all, but then ask yourself whether you have actually ever collected enough points, or paid enough visits to the establishment to ever warrant carrying that card around. Probably not, right?

What we're trying to say is most rewards scheme aren't actually worth the time. Well, thanks to One Mile At A Time, we have come across one that is worth your attention. It's Marriott's latest scheme. If you stay at its hotels just two times then you will be eligible for a free night at one of the worldwide chain's hotels. The only catch is that the offer is only available to new members.

It was an offer that Marriott ran a few months ago and it seems to have quietly returned as the booking window for the offer is once again on the Marriott website. It means that anyone who stays at a Marriott hotel between July 9, 2018, and November 28, 2018, will earn themselves a free night certificate. That certificate can be used in any of Marriott's category 1-5 hotels.

It's not very often that you can enjoy a free night in a hotel but with Marriott right now you can. If you have a few trips lined up between now and the end of November but haven't booked anywhere to stay yet, it might be a good idea to check out if Marriott is an option. A couple of trips away later and you could have yourself a free night in a Marriott hotel to look forward to.
