The Latest In Smart Luggage: The Genius Pack Carry On Supercharged

Frequent flyers who are constantly having to find a place to charge their phone of laptop can now stay connected with the Genius Pack Carry On Supercharged, the newest hassle-free carry-on with two external USB ports and a removable power pack. The luggage features a 2-in-1 charging cable that charges both iPhones and Android devices simultaneously.

The carry-on, which is designed with eight wheels for a 360° super-smooth ride, rolls effortlessly on a variety of surfaces. With enough space to fit clothes for a two-week trip and a TSA-approved 10,000 mAh removable battery, the smart luggage is an upgrade of the brand’s incredibly successful Aerial Carry On, which was awarded best carry-on bag by outlets like Travel & Leisure and SmarterTravel. The new Genius Pack Carry On Supercharged has been developed by incorporating the feedback and experiences of thousands of customers to create an even better product. The brand is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for the carry-on with special discounts for contributors.

Passengers carrying smart luggage onboard must be able to remove the battery if needed. Smart bags with non-removable batteries are banned by the FAA.

The Genius Pack Supercharged includes hi-tech features such as dual USB ports to charge smartphones via a TSA-friendly removable power pack which can restore power smartphones up to four times. Other remarkable features include a built in TSA combination lock, eight wheels for a 360-degree spin, a garment loop to pack hanging clothes, labeled category compartments, an embedded checklist, and a separated laundry compartment.

“This product is a result of customer data. We spent 8 months analyzing tons of feedback from real travelers using our products across the globe to create our best product yet” said Alfred Chehebar, CEO of Genius Pack. “It’s clear travelers are interested in charging capabilities, but they’re not satisfied with how luggage brands have delivered thus far.”

The product has been built with premium materials. The external shell is made of 100% polycarbonate, an ultra-light, but sturdy material used in bulletproof products. The telescoping handle is 100% aluminum with two stop positions.

“Our approach from day one was to slowly capture market share by designing and developing quality products and constantly revisiting the drawing board to enhance” Chehebar said. “So much about travel has changed in the past 10 years but very little has changed in the gear we use. We’re seeing less people wanting to check bags, and many still remain unhappy with their carry-on.”
