The first ever Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort launched on April 13, and The Voice judge Kelly Clarkson and her family were one of the first to experience the sights and sounds of the festivities. Celebrating the 2nd birthday of her youngest son Remington, Clarkson and her family visited the Disneyland Resort and met with familiar characters from various Pixar movies including Monsters Inc and Toy Story.
Clarkson, accompanied by the birthday boy and her three year old daughter River Rose, took pictures with Toy Story characters Woody and Jessy and enjoyed the various Pixar themed treats and games.
While Remington chose to spend his birthday with cowboys and cowgirls, his older sister opted for a princess bash on her third birthday last June, with Clarkson throwing an elaborate Beauty and the Beast themed birthday party, complete with a miniature replica of the ornate yellow ball gown worn by Belle, and of course, a personal princess carriage.
In addition to meet and greet opportunities with Pixar characters, Pixar Fest includes a Pixar Play Parade with characters from Inside Out and Monster’s University, and of course, the famous Pixar Lamp. The festival will also feature a new fireworks display, an animation studio to help children learn how to draw Pixar characters and special treats based on popular movies such as the newly opened Alien Pizza Planet based on the Toy Story series. Guests will have an opportunity to sample specialty Up themed donuts, complete with Russell’s badge sash, and Toy Story inspired alien macaroons.
Pixar Fest runs between April 13- September 3, 2018 at Disneyland Resorts.
