The Giraffe Manor was built back in 1932 and is the oldest of the companies properties. It was modeled on a Scottish hunting lodge and it has had its giraffe guests since the 1970s.
Giraffe Manor is situated on 12 acres of private land and is surrounded by 140 acres of forest. The original manor house offers six rooms, while the Garden Manor offers another six rooms. Each of these rooms is stunning affording picturesque views over the sanctuary and the giraffes. It doesn't matter which room is stayed in, they all offer the same experience to the guests. All of the bedrooms are elegant and beautifully furnished.
Breakfasts here are also an experience not to be forgotten. Rothschild Giraffe
The Rothschild Giraffe is a subspecies of Northern giraffes and is one of the most endangered of the distinct giraffe subspecies. There are around 1,669 of these giraffes estimated to be in the wild.
