Being on a beach vacation means having fun and indulging in cocktails and fried food (or maybe some guac and corn chips) but it can also mean making some healthy food choices (balance, right?). When you're in Hawaii, you'll be able to find many cafes that serve smoothies, salads, and other healthy options. Fuel up with some delicious food (and then get back to relaxing on the beautiful beach).

Read on to find out some cafes to visit in Hawaii that healthy foodies will totally love. Each one offers some truly interesting and colorful menu items.

The Sunday Brunch At Juicy Brew Is Vegan And Epic

One place that you can't miss is Juicy Brew, which has gluten-free and vegan food that is fresh and local. Going out for brunch on Sunday is a weekly tradition for many people and you don't have to miss out just because you're on vacation. Juicy Brew has Sunday brunch, and as we can see from the photo of this waffle, it looks incredible. Jennifer and Christina Hee are sisters who make these delicious creations.

The menu changes often, but some of the meals served in the past have included tofu scramble, vegetable curry, and vegan burritos, according to some photos that customers have shared on Trip Advisor. According to Honolulumagazine.com, you can find vegan coffee jelly here, which sounds awesome and memorable since you can't get that at every cafe or restaurant. The counter always has food that has already been prepared so you can take it out, which is good to know.

Vibe Cafe Really Does Have A Cool Atmosphere (And Tasty Healthy Food)

With a name like Vibe Cafe, you're expecting a cool and chill place, and that's exactly what this Hawaii restaurant offers. You can get drinks like a Beet Latte, Blue Lotus Chai Latte, and Chili Rose Lemonade. Even toast is incredible here: The Caprese Toast has fresh basil and balsamic reduction along with pesto, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella on sourdough bread.

Other menu items include Jackfruit "Pulled Pork" Tacos, A Tofu "Chicken" Caesar, Mushroom-Swiss Burger, and Beet "Poke" Salad. You can even order vegan ice cream which is made locally and sounds delicious. It's awesome to see so many healthy desserts (like the donuts and muffins in this social media pic... yum) so you can treat yourself while on vacation while still eating well.
