The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is bringing yet another attraction to its already breathtaking roster and this time it has to do with the famous giant from the Harry Potter franchise-- the new Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coaster will debut at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida on June 13, 2019, CNN reports.

Potterheads will undoubtedly recall that the motorbike in question originally belonged to Harry's godfather Sirius Black, and that it plays a crucial role in the rescue of Harry from his aunt and uncle's house in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

In both the book and movie versions, Rubeus Hagrid hides Harry in the sidecar of the motorbike as he must make it safely to The Burrow but the Death Eaters are hot on his trail! Aficionados will be able to hop on Hagrid’s motorbike and take to the air, imagining themselves desperately attempting to escape Voldemort’s evil clutches. Luckily, in this case the ride will be somewhat less terrifying and is sure to be much more enjoyable, despite the adrenaline.

According to a representative from Universal, it will be the first time ever that guests will fly with Hagrid on a thrilling roller coaster ride that plunges into the path of some of the wizarding world's rarest magical creatures.

Hagrid is portrayed by Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane in the blockbuster films. He is introduced in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone as a half-giant and half-human who is the gamekeeper and Keeper of Keys and Grounds of Hogwarts, the primary setting for the first six novels. In the third novel Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Hagrid is promoted to Care of Magical Creatures teacher, and is later revealed to be a member of the Order of the Phoenix. While the magical creatures to be part of the ride are yet to be identified, it seems more than likely that Aragog the giant tarantula, Buckbeak the hippogriff and Norbert the dragon, all of whom Hagrid counts as friends during the series, will all be there with the giant.

The Motorbike Adventure ride will be at Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure theme park in the Hogsmeade village area. In addition to rides, Potter fans can treat themselves to wands, drink butterbeer and fill up on chocolate frogs.
