Adventureland, located in the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, boasts an array of wild rides, shows, and experiences. Though the content of these attractions varies, they're based on a variety of adventures that take place in lush African jungles, the swashbuckling Carribean, and the magical Arabian skies.

We're here to look at every attraction located in Adventureland — both past and present — to see how they stack up. Before we get started, however, we're shouting it out to The Pirates League. Maybe this experience (which lets guests dress up like pirates) could have made the cut, but since it costs extra, we figured we'd simply shout it out in the intro.

With that said, it's time you get ready for your most daring journey yet; Here is how we rank every experience in Adventureland.

8 Swiss Family Treehouse

Let's be honest; This walk-through attraction is iconic, especially if you're nostalgic for the 1960 Swiss Family Robinson movie. That being said, newer generations won't be able to appreciate all the fine details and will likely opt for attractions that are more high-energy.

The Swiss Family Treehouse actually has sister locations in Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park (Paris). At all of these, guests can venture through a giant treehouse filled with scenes and sounds from the original movie.

Though the walkthrough is short, it is beautifully designed and can be a fun break from all the outside business.

7 Tinker Bell's Magical Nook

This now-closed meet-and-greet experience took place in Adventureland from 2011 to 2014. Here, guests could journey through Pixie Hollow to meet and interact with characters from the Disney Fairies franchise.

Though this attraction was well-themed and fun, it felt a bit out of place in the otherwise wild and daring Adventureland.

The fairies meet-and-greet area had formerly been located in Fantasyland but was closed down to make room for New Fantasyland. However, after its Adventureland tenure, the fairies' location was brought to Main Street, U.S.A. Today, Tinker Bell is still greeting guests from the Town Square Theater near the front of the park.

6 The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management)

This controversial attraction was an updated version of the Enchanted Tiki Room featuring Iago from Aladdin and Zazu from The Lion King. We'll touch on the original Enchanted Tiki Room later, but this iteration of it — which operated from 1998 to 2011 — had guests sitting in a circular room. Above the visitors was a cast of singing birds and in front of them was the evil goddess known as Tiki.

This rendition of the attraction had the usual, breezy story getting interrupted by Tiki after Iago sets her off. This had the usually casual tone shifting to become more intense. Unfortunately, guests didn't like this change and complained that Disney was ruining an iconic attraction.

Thankfully, not long after a fire broke out in the attic in 2011, Disney reopened the attraction under its original name.

5 A Pirate's Adventures: Treasures of the Seven Seas

This experience sends guests on a quest to hunt down treasure throughout Adventureland. As players follow the path, they get to interact with props and video screens that push the journey along.

With five different variations, guests can play this game more than once. After all, who wouldn't want to collect a few more of those stylish treasure maps?

The scavenger hunt adventures take around 20 minutes each to complete, and yes, it is based on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

4 The Magic Carpets Of Aladdin

This aerial carousel sends guests on a spin through the skies of Agrabah.

Themed after Aladdin, guests can board either the back or front of a magic carpet. Those who sit in the front can make the ride vehicle go higher or lower while those who sit in the back are able to tilt the carpet up and down with the press of a button.

As if that wasn't enough, a camel statue spits water at guests during the 1:30 flight to add a little more fun. With a magical soundtrack playing during the journies, you'll feel as if you've traveled to a far-off land.

3 Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room

In the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room!

The original Enchanted Tiki Room opened alongside the Magic Kingdom park in 1971. It charmed guests with the serenades of birds, totem poles, and tiki drummers until 1998, when it was replaced by the aforementioned, less-loved, updated rendition.

This version, which returned to the park in 2011, was a slightly edited take on the original Disneyland show. Though one song was cut, it remained largely the same. Fans were excited to see the unnecessary Disney bird characters taken out.

2 Jungle Cruise

This boat ride takes guests on a leisurely and entertaining journey through Asia, African, and South American jungles.

Every cruise is led by a tour guide who tells guests about the area they're traveling through while sprinkling in a healthy dose of cheesy jokes. With random props, plants, and animals scattered throughout the path, there is plenty to look at.

The script is largely improvised, so there's not a chance that you'll get bored. Finally, being that your boat is shared by many guests, the experience can become largely interactive.

1 Pirates Of The Caribbean

Topping off the list is the classic Pirates of the Caribbean ride that inspired an entire Disney franchise.

This dark ride takes guests on a cruise through a waterside town filled with gold, fire, and of course, pirates. There are tons of artistically designed audio-animatronics (including several of Captain Jack Sparrow himself) as well as one thrilling drop into the dark.

With charm, nostalgia, and style, Pirates of the Caribbean remains one of the greatest attractions in not only Adventureland but in all of the Magic Kingdom. If you only have time to hit one ride in this land, this is the one you should head for.
