So besides checking out Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in California on/after May 31, we also suggest planning trips to the following:

10 Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure - June 13, 2019

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a fan favorite at Islands of Adventure, and this summer, it will get even bigger and better. According to Universal Orlando’s site, guests will be led by Hagrid into the Forbidden Forest on motorbikes, where magical creatures await.

However, one could end up in some Devil’s Snare or face to face with the bow of a centaur on this ride - which will be the longest roller coaster in the state! It will also have seven launches (the most in the world) and a 17-foot free-fall drop (the first in the country), as reported by Orlando Sentinel.

9 Jurassic World: The Ride - Summer 2019

Those heading to Universal Studios Hollywood this summer will get to experience Jurassic World: The Ride. While on rafts, Jurassic Outpost reported, people will see dinos ranging from the Stegosaurus and the Parasaurolophus to the escaped Indominus rex and the Mosasaurus in its three million gallon tank. Oh, and when a T-Rex shows up, the only safe exit will be down an 84-foot waterfall!

Next to this ride will be tamer attractions, too, such as a Dino Play Area where fossils can be dug up and the Raptor Encounter, where Blue the Velociraptor will be.

8 Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind - Summer 2019

Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park features Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade, Incredibles Park, and Inside Out Headquarters, which is where the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind can be found this summer. It is bright and full of whimsy, just like the flick that inspired it, and it will let visitors see more of Riley’s emotions.

Yes, the ride will focus on Gusteau’s kitchen in his Parisian restaurant, and this is another attraction that could be opening in 2021 - Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. However, new rumors on sites such as Wikipedia and WDW News Today have said that it could be ready by May 2020.

6 The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash - 2020

Another animated movie that is getting an attraction is The Secret Life of Pets. According to Variety, this will be called The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash, and it will be at Universal Studios Hollywood in the year 2020. While on it, visitors will feel like they are moving through New York City and like they are on their way to a pet adoption event.

Just like in the films (the sequel to this movie comes out June 7), people will be able to see what pets do when humans are not around, all whilst enjoying a one-of-a-kind experience.

5 Super Nintendo World - 2020

Rumors have been circulating for quite some time about a Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios, and now, construction has begun in California and Japan. The project in California has an expected opening date of 2020, and one in Orlando should come soon after.

There will be rides based around characters like Pokémon, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, and those seen in Super Smash Bros., as well as a Mario Kart ride. Reports have said that this will be like Warner Bros.’ collaboration with this park, to create the Wizarding World of Harry Potter… but it will be all about video games!

4 Spider-Man Attraction - 2020

1 Guardians Of The Galaxy Roller Coaster - 2021

Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is a ride at Disney California Adventure, and soon, Epcot’s Future World will have a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction, too, which will replace Universe of Energy.
