A series of events led to it. It all began when the island began to experience shipwrecks that left so many sailors stranded. The island is also rumored to be the site of a buried treasure known as the Dundonald treasure which remains undiscovered to date.

For many, the first thing that comes to mind in a place with such a name is people getting their hands chopped off for telling lies. But that is far from being the description of this town. Truth or Consequences is actually a nature-inclined destination in New Mexico endowed with lots of hot spring resorts and spas to offer visitors a relaxing vacation and some healing as well. Besides the numerous thermal waters attractions in Truth or Consequences, a visit to this destination is unique and unforgettable. The town is previously known as “Hot Springs” was named after a game show also known as “Truth and Consequences.” due to its love for the show.

5 Scratchy Bottom, Dorset, England

4 Hell, Norway

Norway is a country with so many unique and interesting things and Hell is an interesting one worth an exploration. There’s nothing diabolic about this place, although it offers the opportunity to make some statements that might sound confusing to the listener.
