Don't Skip Stohrer For Amazing Croissants

The Culture Trip suggests going to Stohrer, a bakery located in the 2nd arrondissement that has been around since 1730. The website refers to it as "Paris’s oldest boulangerieand describes the croissant: "The outer shell has a crumbly texture, encasing a doughy interior with spongy pockets of air. This develops into a cake-like consistency while eating, making it slightly heavy; the flavor is rich but not overwhelming." A Trip Advisor review says that the croissants are "crispy on the outside" which sounds incredible. We can taste these already... The bakery also has other treats like chocolate or caramel eclairs, raspberry or lemon pies, and a citrus puff pastry brioche.

Boulanger Patissier is recommended by a Reddit user who posted, "They won best croissant of all in Paris for 2018 and they did not disappoint, best croissant I’ve ever tasted." This bakery is located on boulevard Saint-Germain.
