A couple from Tennessee managed to visit six different Disney theme parks in two different states on opposite coasts, all in the same day.
For most of us, especially if we don't live in the US, visiting Disneyland is a once in a lifetime experience. There is enough to do in just one of Disney's many theme parks to keep you entertained for an entire day, if not longer. However, for one couple in Tennessee, one Disney park in one day was simply not enough.
Now granted, the parks in Orlando, Florida are all pretty close together. Knocking the four of them out in one day isn't that tall an order. Again though, that wasn't enough for Heather and Clark Ensminger. The Disney-loving couple wanted to spend their tenth wedding anniversary achieving the seemingly unachievable. This is what they did and how they did it, courtesy of USA Today.
Not only did the Ensmingers visit all four of Orlando's Disney parks, they also hit the two in Los Angeles, California that very same day. No, you did not read that wrong, we are indeed talking about a coast-to-coast, one-day, Disney extravaganza. Heather and Clark began their day in Orlando and had breakfast at Disney's Hollywood Studios last Wednesday at 7 am.
Next on the agenda, Epcot, where they arrived two hours later. Another hour and a half after that, they arrived at the Magic Kingdom, paying Gaston's Tavern a quick visit. Lunch at the Animal Kingdom marked park number four and then came the hard part. A cross-country flight to Los Angeles. Thanks to the miracle of time difference, the couple arrived on the west coast at 6:45 pm Pacific time, but there was no time to waste.
By 8 pm, the two of them were taking in the sights and scenes of Disney California Adventure Park. From there on in it was pretty much plain sailing and their time was their own. Disneyland was the last park on the list, and they stayed there until 11:30 pm, half an hour before closing time. That's a long day by anyone's standards, but one that Heather and Clark won't soon forget.
