Everyone's Halloween plans have been put on hold this year which means there's that much more reason to gorge ourselves on Halloween-themed cheese and autumn treats. Thankfully, Aldi has already got this one in the bag with their highly-coveted Halloween flavored cheeses, and this year, they have plenty of other autumn surprises to accompany their dairy section.

Each year it seems like more and more stores roll out their fall food line and Aldi is slaying the game. From Belgium (pumpkin) chocolates to pumpkin-shaped pizzas, the store revealed nearly 20 new fall items that are here just in time to cozy up to the fireplace, grab a plate full of snacks, and lounge the lazy fall days away. These foods are the perfect excuse for a wine and cheese night (we can show you how to put together the most awesome cheese and charcuterie board) or for families to spend the day in the kitchen.

Bring On The Cheese

This year, Aldi has brought back six popular cheese flavors that Aldi shoppers seem to truly love. Not only is the packaging a ton of fun but the cheeses themselves are absolutely delicious and so unique in their flavor profiles. Each one stands alone well on its own but can be served with plain crackers or even a slice of crusty bakery bread, but there's no denying that cheese lovers will have a hard time not finishing it all in one sitting.

For starters, there's Freaky Franken Sage Derby cheese which is appropriately decorated with the head of Frankenstein and a neon-green package. This cheese is a Derby-style (hence the name) and flavored with dry sage for a mild, earthy, and herby flavor.

Next up are two Wensleydale cheeses that are both equally as delicious. The first is 'No Rest for the Wicked' and it's flavored with strawberry and prosecco, making it the perfect fruity and end-of-summer option for any cheeseboard.

The second is a truly spooky addition, a Wensleydale Pumpkin Spice cheese. Believe it or not, this is not the first pumpkin spice-flavored cheese to ever hit store shelves - rather than being flavored like a latte, these cheeses are flavored just like any others that are infused, and only contain the spices that echo pumpkin spice. Of those are ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, which balance out this perfectly mild cheese with a hint of spice and warmth.

The next two kinds of cheese are by the same brand - Emporium Selection Transylvania Hard Cheese and are flavored in both classic and red wine. These cheeses are decorated tastefully in packages that evoke gothic Romania and they're both utterly delicious, so it's probably best to grab one of each as soon as they hit the shelves.

The last cheese on the list is the 'Bat Knit' Crazy Cheddar which is an aged cheddar, but it's decked out in a fun and Halloween-themed wax package. This is a great option for kids as it's still fun for the fall but doesn't have as bold a flavor as the other cheeses.

Other Must-Grab Fall Items

Ready for even more foodie fun? Aldi has brought back their Mama Cozzi's Pizza Kitchen pizza, which is in the shape of a pumpkin, but the fun doesn't stop there. This pizza is also topped with a tasty butternut squash sauce, cheddar, mozzarella, and a cheese sauce made with mascarpone. It's addicting and so flavorful, and will definitely be a hit with both adults and kids.

Some of the other Aldi favorites Millville granola which comes in both Pumpkin Spice and Harvest flavors, for those who are over the #PSL movement. These go great with Aldi's Specially Selected Honey Maple yogurt, which makes for a super sweet treat to start off the morning with.

Aunt Maple's pancake mix is also a must-have for the fall season and it comes in two sweet flavors. The first is chocolate banana (no real bananas necessary for this breakfast favorite) and, of course, pumpkin spice. These mixes can be used to make waffles as well!

For those seeking a sweet treat that's within 'healthier' guidelines, Benton's CookieThins might just fit the bill. This year, Aldis has them in two flavors: Pumpkin Spice and Apple Crumble.

To go along with those cookies, Aldi is also featuring coffee from Barissimo, with a limited edition 'Coffees of Fall' package, which includes K-Cups in Salted Caramel, Coconut Caramel, and Apple Pie.

For chocolate-lovers, Aldi has you covered, too. This year, Belgian-style chocolate can be found on candy shelves in the shape of pumpkins. However, these variety packs offer not one, but five unique flavors: Crispy Milk Chocolate Cream, Vanilla Cream, Dark Chocolate Cream, Salted Caramel, and Coffee Ganache.

For the pretzel-lovers, Aldi also has pumpkin spice-flavored, yogurt-covered pretzels.
