Prague is internationally famous as one of the most stunning cities in all of Europe. It is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and one of the most important cities of European medieval history. For many, the stark buildings and the graceful river running through the city make it one of the most romantic places to visit. It is also famous for its beer and is a city where the beer flows like water.

Prague is characterized by Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture, and some of its main attractions are Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, libraries that look straight out of Harry Potter, and more. Prague is one of the best cities in Europe for backpackers and has a whole range of great hostel accommodations. Some hostels are more chill, while others feel the vibe of Prague as a party destination.
