Part of the fun and thrill of going to any Disney World theme park is the food. Don't deny it - with all of that walking and adventuring, a person can really work up an appetite! There's no better way to quench that than with a trip to Epcot where park guests have the chance to make their way around a total of 11 countries, each with corresponding restaurants or snack stands that serve the regional cuisine. And one of the best things about that is, of course, all the sweets.

Sweet snacks and desserts can be found across Epcot from Canada to France (which is the best, according to professional Epcot lovers) and are best found by starting in Canada, first. This route takes visitors to France quickly but also allows them to explore some other sweet treats along the way. While the ultimate destination is France and its bakery, that doesn't mean sugary snacks aren't to be had along the way and after that make an impression. Here we go!

Canada, The Refreshment Port: Cronut

You may have had a cronut prior to this but if you haven't it's certainly an experience. At The Refreshment Port, these cronuts are the perfect hybrid of croissants and donuts and with a cinnamon-sugar coating, there's nothing not to love. One of these is a great way to start out the day, especially if you choose to go the Canada route first.

France, Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie, Crepes de Les Chefs de France, And L’Artisan des Glaces

The France Pavillion can be a bit overwhelming with the main bakery (Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie), a smaller bakery (L'Artisan des Glaces), and a crêpe shop (Crepes de Les Chefs de France) but don't worry, it's entirely possible to hit all three and try some of everything. Macarons from Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie are a must for those who like them (try the ice cream macarons at L'Artisan de Glaces!) and if not, then skip them - there's so much more to experience here.

The Cherry and Flan Tart, Strawberry Tart, Lemon Meringue Tart, Nutella-stuffed beignets, and Raspberry Mousse Cake are all delicious and found at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie. L'Artisan des Glaces offers more ice cream options, such as an ice cream-filled brioche that guests can customize themselves. And, finally, at Crepes de Les Chefs de France, guests can find crêpes (obviously) along with unique treats such as soft-serve ice cream.

Morocco, Tangierine Cafe: Baklava

If you're stopping in Morocco, the Tangierine Cafe is an absolute must. The baklava here is absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced with its sweet syrup and pistachio filling. For those who want something on the lighter side, the Almond Pastry is nutty with a hint of subtle sweetness and buttery, flaky dough.

Japan, Kabuki Cafe: Kaki Gori

Shaved Ice doesn't normally sound like anything special until you've had it at the Kabuki Cafe in Japan. This icy treat is flavored with syrup and topped with sweet milk; it's practically the best combination of a snow cone and ice cream you'll likely have ever had in your life.

America, Funnel Cake Cart: Funnel Cakes

For those who are familiar with the carnival and county fair atmosphere, no one will judge you if you choose to skip this food cart. However, to skip it would also be missing out on an all-American specialty that smells like summer and tastes even better - and can be covered in ice cream or powdered sugar.

Italy, Promenade: Gelato Ice Cream Sandwich And Cannoli

Italy's desserts are simple yet delicious and embody two of the most popular desserts the country is known for: gelato and cannolis. A gelato ice cream sandwich is the perfect treat for a hot summer day, and a cannoli - specifically, a chocolate-covered one - is nothing short of perfection.

Germany, Karamell-Kuche: Caramel Everything

Karamell-Kuche has everything from Caramel Pecan Bars to S'mores that are covered in caramel with a chocolate drizzle. Both of these are suited to those with a serious sweet tooth but if you're looking for something a little more mellow, look no further than the caramel popcorn that can also be found there.

China, Joy Of Tea: Bubble Milk Tea

Not everyone enjoys tapioca pearls in their tea but if you're a fan, the Joy of Tea is a must-stop for all those who can't live without it. With so many flavors to choose from an authentic atmosphere, this is a great place just to get a refreshing drink, in general.

Norway, Kringla Bakeri og Cafe: Berry Cream Puff

There are some mixed opinions about the School Bread at Kringla Bakeri og Cafe, not because it's not absolutely delicious, but because the Berry Cream Puff is slightly better. When in doubt, though, get both! School Bread is a traditional Norwegian snack that's filled with vanilla custard, then topped with coconut and icing.

Mexico, La Cantina de San Angel: Churro Bites With A Side Of Caramel

These churros are so well-known in Epcot that there are even recipes online for devoted fans who want to make their own at home. The slight crisp and crunch of these churros combined with a tender, airy center pairs beautifully with a side of decadent caramel sauce - we're talking a match made in heaven.
