Die-hard fans of "Star Wars" already have tickets to the final movie in the Skywalker saga, set to be released just before Christmas. But Disney has another exciting launch up its sleeve... and this one can take you directly into the world of "Star Wars".

Walt Disney World in Florida is opening the most ambitious attraction in the theme parks history - Rise of the Resistance. The new attraction will open December 5 and will be the newest addition to Disney's "Star Wars" land, Galaxy's Edge.

Rise of the Resistance is the very first thing fans will experience when visiting the new land and lasts 18 minutes, with three different fully-immersive parts to keep you on your toes.

4 Episode I: Transport Off Batu

Kent Phillips/Disney Parks

To enter Rise of the Resistance, riders will sneak behind a waterfall and through long tunnels hidden within a Resistance encampment. As you make your way through the tunnels, there will be plenty of views of rebel flight suits, helmets, macro binoculars and breath masks found on the Millennium Falcon.

Once you get into camp, you are officially a recruit of the Resistance. You will be greeted by Rey and BB-8, who explain that the planet Batuu is evacuating and everyone must meet at another secret base in another solar system. You then jump on a transport ship before getting attacked by the First Order.

3 Episode II: First Order Soldiers

The next stage of Rise of the Resistance takes riders inside of a Star Hanger. You are greeted by 50 First Order officers, who tell you to step forward. You can see First Order ships flying by in a nearby window. As you are being taken to your holding cell, you will walk past a Resistance TIE fighter and get a quick glimpse at what looks like movement inside. Once you reach the cell block, you are greeting by General Hux and Kylo Ren. Kylo tries to use the Force on you but is interrupted by a battle.

2 Episode III: The Rescue

Kent Phillips/Disney Parks

The next act in the attraction starts when someone begins to laser their way into your cell block. A Resistance soldier is waiting on the other side of that laser ready to rescue you. They then strap you into a transport and Finn appears on the screen to further detail your escape plan.

The last five minutes of the attraction are a whirring thrill ride featuring close calls with blaster fire, First Order ships, a stomach-churning freefall, and a handful of close calls with Kylo Ren - including his lightsaber cutting through the ceiling above you. The ride ends with you crash landing back on Batuu (or just inside the entrance of Disney World's Galaxy's Edge theme park).

1 The Finale: A Star Wars Fan's Ultimate Dream

Fans who got to check out Rise of Resistance before its official opening tomorrow say it's technologically ambitious in that it combines four different ride types and seamlessly links them together. The attraction also comes complete with live cast members and animatronics. Though Disney World's Galaxy's Edge opened four months ago, fans are saying Rise of Resistance was well worth the wait.
