There's nothing more fun than checking out a new bar or restaurant while in a new city. Miami is a funky, artistic urban environment with a lot of amazing places to eat and drink, but as anyone who loves cocktails know, they can seriously add up.

There are many restaurant menus in Miami with cocktails that cost way more than you want to spend. But there are some places that don't have super high prices and you can enjoy yourself knowing you're getting a deal. Read on to find out Miami restaurants with great cocktails that are actually affordable.

Wood Tavern Has Super Cool Vibes And $10 Cocktails

Miami isn't a super cheap place to visit or live, so a $10 cocktail is considered a good deal. You can find several options at Wood Tavern, which has very cool, creative vibes.

There's the Chupa Me Pina which the website describes as "Tito's Handmade Vodka, Pineapple Juice, Simple Syrup, Ginger, and Mint shaken and served over ice." You might like the Cucumber Smash which has "Kettle One Botanicals Cucumber & Mint, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, cucumbers, and a splash of soda water served over ice." Or Guavecito might be more your style: it's got "Malibu Coconut Rum, Guava Juice, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, and bitters served over ice."

There is also a happy hour which gives you the chance to get even more affordable drinks. The social media page for the bar says happy hour runs from Monday to Saturday five to eight p.m. According to Total Happy Hour, this means "30 percent off drink specials."

Someone posted on Trip Advisor that they love the happy hour and said, "A cool trendy bar in popular Wynwood district. Plenty of choices for Beers and lagers. They do any cocktails too. Quite small but has a large outdoor area with street food."

Check Out $7 Happy Hour Drinks (Around Dinnertime) At Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila has a really cool happy hour deal at the South Beach location: according to their website, cocktails are $7 (and beer is only $5). You can also order chips and guac for $4, chips and salsa for $3, and tacos for $2.

Their cocktail menu ranges from Palomas to margaritas to a Mezcal Old-Fashioned so there will definitely be some good ones on special at this time. The happy hour is from six to eight p.m. and the menu says "everyday." Since that's around dinnertime, unlike some happy hours which are much earlier, that is awesome news.

According to one Trip Advisor review, the happy hour is definitely worth checking out: "lots of tacos at 2 USD and one of the best cocktails we have ever had." Another said, "Great little gem, basically an indoor food truck offering a large selection of Mexican food from tacos to burritos or quesadillas."

The tacos on offer include the Pollo Asado which has "Roasted Chicken, Red Onion, Cilantro, Avocado Salsa" and the Al Pastor which has "Roasted Pork, Charred Pineapple, Red Onion, Cilantro, Salsa Rosada." If you're in Miami, this would be a place to go immediately.

Order A $9 Cocktail At Terras (And Definitely Get Some Food, Too)

Another great spot for affordable drinks in Miami is Terras. The place has a rooftop bar so you can enjoy awesome drinks with a cool view. Get the Furiosa which is $9 and has "tequila, Aperol, falernum, lime, firewater bitters." Finding an incredible cocktail for $9 is definitely a good deal. Some places can sell artisan or homemade cocktails for $16 so at the $9 price point, you could order one or two comfortably.

You could also get a cocktail called the Trade Road which is $11 (which is still a good deal in Miami). The menu says that it has "bourbon, rum, chartreuse, honey-ginger, orange mint, lemon." Those sound like delicious ingredients for a cocktail and this isn't something that you can get just anywhere.

Terras is located in Little Havana and also has a food menu that you're definitely going to want to check out. Order Black Bean and Queso Dip, Pollo Tacos, Pork Barbacoa, or Coconut and Hearts and Palm Salad. You can also order from the sides menu and get tostones or chips. After all, nothing is better than some good drinks and snacks.

When you're in Miami and looking for some cocktails that are going to be more affordable than most places, these three bars are definitely your best bets. From a funky and artistic place to an amazing taco restaurant to a spot in Little Havana with interesting cocktails, these will all deliver an amazing experience.
