Whether you want a romantic vacation with your significant other or it's your first trip away from your kids, sometimes a grown-up retreat is on the agenda. While of course kids are wonderful, there's no denying that a resort with children playing in the pool and having tons of fun will be perhaps a bit louder than an adults-only all-inclusive.

The Bahamas is the perfect spot when you're looking for an all-inclusive resort. But while doing your research on the best place to stay, it's a good idea to be aware of the good and bad reviews. To help sift out the best of the best, we're presenting our readers with 12 adult-only all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas that are worth every penny, along with five that aren't worth considering.

Updated by Lauren Feather, February 23, 2022: The Bahamas has always been a popular vacation hotspot for travelers all around the world, and there's no evidence that its popularity will ever go away. With perfect white sands, warm clear ocean, and paradisiac islands dotted with lush palms, the nation is the pinnacle of perfection - and its the lavish all-inclusive adults-only resorts that make this dreamy haven all the more serene and alluring. Is there anything better than retreating to an exotic tropical heaven with everything included, where you need not worry about a single thing, nor open your wallet for any drink or meal? If the answer is "no," then these following resorts - which we've just added even more of - should be the ones to check out when scoping out that five-star Bahamian getaway (and we've even thrown in a few to avoid for good measure).
