There are legends saying that seas and oceans speak an ancient language which we have forgotten and only those who feel the life inside and outside on the deepest level can understand this antique language.
It doesn't matter if you believe it or not, I bet that at least once in a lifetime you felt sincere tranquility, inner clarity, and satisfaction of life by listening to the transparent blue waves endlessly reaching the sandy shore. Some people call this state happiness. Maybe it occurs to us near the seasides or coastlines, because we stop listening to the sea and start hearing its ancient language?
The oceans on our planet are millions of years old, can you imagine what secrets they keep? I think the wisdom and depth of seas and oceans, along with their unique tranquilizing language which we have forgotten is what makes them so attractive to completely different people all around the world. It's what makes us travel to the other side of the globe to see the deep blue, listen to the sound of the waves once again and forget about our tiny mind-made problems. It's what makes us speechless and serene when we dare to open ourselves to the soothing hands of these ancient waters.
For those who love the seaside and cannot live without the magnetic energy of seas and oceans, we have created a list of 25 destinations. From distant islands to vibrant capitals and cities, there's a destination here for every kind of seaside lover.

This marvelous island was unknown to the tourists and it started to attract attention only in 2003 when it became an international site for protests against the usage of the island as a bombing range testing ground by the United States' Navy. This incident draws international attention and very soon the island became a tourist destination. Good news is that this island still remains quite secluded placed compared to the more popular destinations in the Caribbean range.
The place that you see on the photo above is a Mosquito Bay. I would say that this is a number one reason to visit Vieques island because this place is the brightest bioluminescent bay in the world.

Nessebar is rarely included in lists like this because it has a strong competition with world famous cities like Barcelona, Los Angeles, Rio De Janeiro, Venice, and the likes. But I think that it deserves being included in this list because of the old part of the city called Old Nessebar. It was included in World Heritage Sites in 1983. I recommend visiting the Old City at 6 AM when all the shops are closed so that you can feel the spirit of the ancient city and listen to the language of the sea.

Although both cities are very beautiful and have water channels, if I were asked which city I would like to come back with more enthusiasm, I would say Venice.
There's something magnetic in its narrow streets, azure water channels, old buildings, and wooden gondolas. The spirit that only one city possesses. And for those of you who don't know, there are several resorts nearby where you can enjoy the sea.
