When a lot of us think of travel, we think of fun, flying, checking out new destinations and having the best time ever. Things we don't consider until later are the complications and technicalities we have to go through to actually travel somewhere. Not to mention the price. Not only are plane tickets really expensive, but you've got the hotel money, security money and then spending money. All things to seriously consider when defining your travel budget. None of it will matter, however, unless you have a passport and visas ready so you may enter the country you're going to. Each country has different laws about tourists entering, so make sure to research everything before you book the plane ticket and lose thousands of dollars.

In this list, we'll be talking about the surprising number of countries that are relatively easy to get into. Some of them require visas, some just a simple online test and some don't require visas at all. Of course, it varies for each country, so it's important to remember that this list talks about the 25 countries that are easier to get into than you'd think, for US citizens. Friends from across the globe, we're sorry to say we can't speak for your laws. There may be different requirements for you, so when it comes time to travel, remember to research specifically for your home country, to the laws of the one you plan on traveling to. There'd be nothing worse than getting all the way to the airport before realizing you won't be let in.

25 USA

You're definitely wondering why we're putting this in the list. Well, we know that US citizens don't have to worry about this, but for any international travelers reading, then you should know that it is actually easier to get into the US then border security TV shows make it out to be.

In reality, the US has a Visa Waiver Program with a fair few countries, meaning it's just a quick online question and answer, and boom you're allowed to travel to the US freely for 90 days.

24 Sweden

We think most people interested in travel are interested in Europe, and what better way to learn new things than to experience Scandinavia? Or, the start of it at least. Other than IKEA, Sweden is a country known for beautiful scenery and culture, and if you're interested in going - it's very easy.

Sweden is the first country in this list that is a part of the Schengen Area. It's European countries you can enter with no visa and can travel from country to country. It's pretty exciting because it means it's one step easier to travel the world.

23 Switzerland

Switzerland is known for its beautiful landscape, especially in winter. The beautiful snow covered mountains as well as the snow sports, and chocolate make Switzerland a highly sought after vacation spot.

The good news for everyone is that Switzerland also falls under the Schengen Area, meaning there's not a big visa process to go through to enter. If you're looking to enjoy a cozy winter curled up by the fire looking out at beautiful scenery then get packing!

22 England

England has always been a super fun vacation spot because things are pretty different from normal life in the US. It's full of history and interesting stories making England a beautiful trip for museums and sightseeing.

Beautiful scenery, warm sunny days, watching boats sail by and eating delicious food. That sounds like heaven to us but also sounds a lot like Italy. We think if it's not already on everyone's bucket list then it should be.

Italy is a part of the Schengen Area too, so being able to stuff yourself full of authentic Italian food then passing out in the sun is easier than you think. Summer dates are basically the same so start planning for next year.

You might wonder why we've added Antarctica to our list. The reason is that Antarctica is a beautiful place to visit and surprisingly has more things to see than you would think.

The south pole, seeing little penguin colonies and all the stunningly cold but beautiful mountains. There is no visa requirement for Antarctica as no one actually owns it, but you do still need permission as stated here. It may be cold but we think Antarctica would be so worth it.

France, or more specifically Paris, is the place of love for a lot of people. It has always been portrayed as a romantic getaway and a sought after wedding destination. The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and more.
