Ever since 1955 when the inaugural McDonald's opened its door in Des Plaines, Illinois, the fast-food chain has been our go-to source for burgers, fries, and chicken nuggets. Sure, we know that it's not the healthiest food around (okay, we would probably say that it's not good for us at all) but whether we're having a bad day or a late night, we really love the comfort food. It's easy, convenient, and part of our routine. And many of us love the fries most of all.

21 This Burger Is Literally Coming Apart...
According to She Knows, someone ordered a burger at McDonald's and this photo on the left was the result.
It seriously looks like this burger is completely coming apart. Was it even cooked all the way? Would you eat a burger that looked like this? This is enough to make us want to start learning how to make burgers at home.
20 Expectation Vs Reality: This Chicken Guac Sandwich Is Gross
We know that guac is easy to make, and we probably do make it at home on a regular basis (especially when we need some chips and guac, which is a common thing).
But we might not want to order this Chicken Guac Sandwich from McDonald's after seeing the photo that someone posted on Reddit. The toppings look so sloppy and the guac is the most disgusting part. (Did we ever think we would say that about guac?!)
19 We Don't Even Have Words For This...
Sure, this person wanted a cheeseburger from McDonald's with "only ketchup" on it as we can see from the receipt here. But they didn't want the ketchup to be smeared on the bun in such a sloppy way... and they definitely didn't want the burger to look so gross. It's a strange color and it's enough to put us off this fast food item for a long time.

We might have heard stories that sometimes burgers aren't cooked all the way at fast food places but it's seriously tough to imagine that someone would give you an uncooked burger.
Well, that is exactly what happened to this poor customer who got this burger at McDonald's. We wonder how much of it they ate before realizing that something was wrong?!
17 A McRib... But Without The McRib (No Big Deal)
She Knows posted this photo that someone actually got a McRib McDonald's that didn't even have any meat in it. Sure, there's a bun and some onions and pickles... but that's it.
Honestly, even the onions and pickles look totally gross, so we wouldn't even be interested in eating them.
16 Don't You Want A Number On Your Food?!
According to She Knows, this is another photo of someone who wasn't happy with their experience at McDonald's. We can't blame them at all because they actually got this meal that included a number printed on the food.
We don't even know what we would do if we saw this in real life.
15 These Cheese Fries Had Almost Zero Cheese
Someone posted on Reddit that they got cheese fries at McDonald's and this was actually the result. It's wild to see that this is just a pile of fries (that look pretty dull and ordinary) with a tiny amount of melted cheese, some bacon, and what looks like mayo. You could definitely do something better at home.
14 Do You Want Some Food With Your Mayo?
There are people who hate mayo and there are people who love it, but chances are, even the people who enjoy it don't want it totally slathered all over their fast food burger or sandwich.
What's super weird (and super gross) about this pic from McDonald's is that it looks like it's literally a sandwich with mayo (like a cup of it), some bacon that's not cooked all the way through, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup. And that's it. Where's the burger or chicken?

According to Patch.com, a mother who lives in Palos Heights, Illinois went to McDonald's for her child and, as the publication explains, "was shocked to find a chicken nugget drenched in sweet and sour sauce, with what appears to be a bite already taken out of it." That's so dirty and so gross.
12 This Must Be The Messiest, Most Disgusting Sandwich Ever
Sometimes food can be messy, which is one reason why people say to never eat certain things (like chicken wings with tons of sauce) on a first date.
But nothing holds a candle to this sandwich from McDonald's. It looks like someone sprayed ketchup and mayo at the wall and some of it randomly ended up on this meal.
11 One Burger, Hold The Mold, Please
It's hard to believe that a burger from a fast food restaurant (or any restaurant at all) would have mold on it. It's pretty surprising (and definitely disgusting) to see the mold on this burger bun.
Did someone see the mold and think, "That's okay, I'll serve this anyway?" It's very confusing.
10 Bacon Should Never Be Quite This Greasy
Sure, sometimes bacon is greasy. And sometimes that's great, especially if you're having a big breakfast after a late night.
What's not great is ordering a fast food breakfast and receiving bacon that is this greasy. It's a whole other level and it's really not cool. This is almost enough to put us off bacon forever.
9 Skip The Fish And Chips...
Ordering fish at certain places is a pretty sketchy thing. You really do take a risk.
But maybe you would expect fish to be okay at McDonald's since there are many menu items that feature this ingredient. Well, the fish and chips don't look like they're worth ordering, at least according to this photo. What are those white lines?!
8 Don't You Want A Chicken Sandwich That Is Actually Frozen?
This poor person ordered a chicken sandwich from McDonald's and it was frozen. That would be enough to send us running super quickly, screaming that we couldn't believe this would actually happen to us. The color of that chicken is just so unnatural. And now we're not hungry... like at all.
7 This Unlucky Customer Was Given A Totally Raw Chicken Burger
According to News.com.au, a guy in Gold Coast, Australia was eating his chicken sandwich when he soon found out that he was given a totally raw meal.
This is perhaps the most disgusting thing we've seen from a fast food restaurant. We really don't have words for how we would feel if we were in that situation.

As one guy posted on Yelp about his experience eating at McDonald's, "It looks like a Big Mac. I call it a big disaster."
We would have to agree based on these two images. It's wild to see how messy this burger is. It also looks like the burger itself is either burned or has somehow magically fused itself into the bun. Ugh.
5 What Is That Even Supposed To Be?!
Even after staring at this picture for a few minutes, it's pretty tough to tell what menu item it is. Maybe a Fillet O'Fish? Or someone kind of breaded and fried chicken sandwich?
Whatever it's supposed to be, the end product probably wasn't that delicious, at least judging by this photo.
4 This Cheeseburger Didn't Have The Actual Burger
Sure, sometimes you go out for dinner and your meal gets forgotten, or maybe your app comes at the same time as your main. Mistakes are made and things happen.
But... you really do need to get the burger that you paid for. This cheeseburger didn't have any meat patty in it, and the sad-looking bun with a piece of cheese and smeared ketchup looks so gross.

There's always been a debate about whether regular fries or sweet potato fries are better. People have some pretty strong opinions on the subject.
