The fear of flying high in the sky is something that a lot of us suffer from, and it's a stress that many of us wish didn't exist - but it does. Of course, the majority of people are just passengers and have no control whatsoever over what is going to happen throughout the course of their flight.

Still, it's nice to know that the pilot that does control the fate of the plane is focusing on the task at hand: but wait, that isn't always the case.

Some pilots like to take a few risks here and there, which includes taking a selfie. No, we aren't kidding, but we really wish that we were.

The fighter pilots alongside him alone serve as a big enough heart attack for us, but then you look deeper and see the mountains in the background. It's all just a little bit mental to be perfectly honest with you, even though there's a certain quiet chaos to it all.

14 Too Close For Comfort

This looks incredibly fake, but such is the nature of photography these days - it's just impossible to tell. The forestry area seems far too close for comfort as the title suggests, and it also looks like the plane is on its side. Good stuff.

A private plane requires some high-level pilots because let's face it, the rich folk are going to pay for quality. The fact that they felt the need to let the world know about where they were and what they were doing, though, feels more arrogant than it probably should.

This girl is cute and she seems to be having a great time, but having a great time just doesn't fill us, personally, with a whole load of confidence. Plus, it appears as if she's just thrown on any random outfit before heading to the clouds.

First of all he should be concerned about the fact that he could quite easily drop the selfie stick, second of all why on earth is he flying around inside a Kinder Egg, and finally what sort of maniac attempts to multitask in such a bizarre manner?

The whole "this thing doesn't even have doors" fills us with more worry and anxiety than we'd like to admit. These guys appear to be having the time of their life, though, but even if you aren't afraid of heights it'd be terrifying to look down.

The guy in front is living for the moment, but the gentleman in the back simply is not and we can't say that we blame him. There are so many risks associated with this form of travel, and if we could, we'd happily put a stop to the madness.

That stadium is looking mighty fine, but it just doesn't feel like this particular member of the Blue Angels should be in this sort of position. The trajectory alone is giving us a nose bleed, and we just need to know if he's okay.

There's such a thing as too many cooks and we believe that to be the case in this instance here. They're quite clearly enjoying the company of one another and there's nothing wrong with that, but how are you supposed to focus when you're chatting away? We sound like a teacher.

Catching up on a spot of literature is a smart thing to do in pretty much any walk of life, but come on now, let's just take a look at this image and unpackage the 1,000,000 things that are wrong with it.

The side-on view almost makes us feel a little bit more sick because she isn't even facing the right way - and she appears to be mid-flight at the time of the photo being taken. Still, there seems to be a map right next to her, so there's a silver lining to every story.
