Celebrity sighting has become a literal job. The paparazzi are paid to do what is essentially considered stalking in order to get the best picture. They get paid to get publications “likes” and “follows”. Don’t worry, we aren't hating just kind of upset that we never thought of doing the same thing. Maybe develop our photography skills and be out there on the front lines with all the others. Since we didn’t do that, we have to resort to finding out the hotspots and spending our own hard-earned money to get into those places. It’s not the worse thing you can do to meet a celebrity and trust us people have done worse.

What many people don’t realize is that there are way more than those super fancy, high-end places that celebrities hang out in. You don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to meet the likes of Ryan Reynolds...or any other celebs. Or, negotiate a deal with a bouncer outside of a club. There are certain times of the year where meeting celebrities are easier like during festivals, premiere parties, and grand openings. However, we have to admit those little missions can be a fun time out but tiring. We have found an easier way for you to low-key stalk your favorite celebs without being a nuisance to them and inconveniencing yourself. Here is a list of some of the places where you can have a good time and a high chance of meeting someone famous. You’re welcome!

20 Rockefeller Center

30 Rock Plaza is near Rockefeller Center so the chances of someone spotting a celebrity here or around the area is highly likely. Fans of shows like Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon know that they will most likely get a selfie opportunity if they loiter. But beware chances are you won’t be the only person hanging out and looking suspicious. Many people do this on a daily basis. Some people even turned it into a fulltime job they become self-employed paparazzi and attempt to sell their pictures to publications. And guess what? Some of them are actually successful.

19 The Polo Bar

The Polo Bar is a very popular eatery and it’s kind of affordable. Which is why people are always so shocked when they are eating lunch or dinner and see the likes of Jerry Seinfeld or Gwyneth Paltrow walk in. If it’s good enough for these two mega-celebs then it’s good enough for anyone. The bar is designed almost as a homage to the Ralph Lauren brand. It has polo-themed designs on the walls and even has a signature polo burger. A few other celebrities who have walked through the doors are Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga. On your next trip there try to snag yourself a reservation.

18 Madison Square Garden

Obviously Madison Square Garden has to be on this list. The arena is home to basketball games and concerts by some of the biggest artists in the world. Selling out the Garden is what most celebrities dream of and it’s not an easy feat. You never know who will be sitting beside you at a concert. Some celebrities are so low key they don't feel the need to get VIP tickets. The likes of Jimmy Fallon, Howard Stern, Dwyane Wade, and really too many to name have all made appearances. People have gotten pictures for their social media pages because they decided to go to a concert.

17 Broadway

The chances of meeting some of the actors after the night are done is great. They normally walk out the same front door as you so they can receive the praise for their performance. It’s rare that they slip out the back and we aren’t talking about no-name celebrities. We are talking about those celebs who have made it big but miss their Broadway days so they sign up for a play. Or, the celebrities who are fans of plays and they want to go to catch a show. The opportunities are endless and right now, Broadway is enjoying hit after hit that even celebs are lining up for tickets to shows like Hamilton and Come From Away.

16 Rainbow Room

Rainbow Room is a buffet joint and no one ever expects celebrities to eat anywhere that they are not being served at. However, the Rainbow Room is slightly different. The buffet has so many options and has been described by some celebrities as “over the top”. When in New York, Kylie Jenner dines here and Gaga is a regular. There is even an option for dancing after dinner if you aren’t too stuffed and some other great entertainment. This place is so established that Jimmy Fallon also hosted his book release party here. So, which celebrities have to whisk through the doors of Bagatelle? Beyonce and husband Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Kevin Hart, really the list is endless. But we have to admit not everyone may be able to afford to dine at this place. But you can always wait for a celeb to walk in or out.

Nick Jonas swears by JG Melon when he is in New York. The establishment may look like a dive bar from the outside but once you go inside it has a cool vibe. 11 Del Posto

Italian classics are given a bit of a kick here at Del Posto. However, we have reason to believe that people mostly come here for the atmosphere. This restaurant looks so beautiful and elegant you will spend most of your time looking around at the decor rather than the menu. We assume celebrities love coming here because they offer a private dining area. As for the menu, everything is locally sourced and sustainable two buzzwords that catch everyone’s eye. They offer a fixed price menu for lunch and dinner so if you save up you can spend about $200 a person to hopefully dine next to a celeb.

Keep in mind it is normally reservation only but it’s kind of worth is not only because the food is promised to be tasty AF. But, because you may get to creepily watch a celebrity eat their meal because we all know how much they love when people stare at them.

1 Whistler

If you love skiing and celebrities then look no further than Whistler, British Columbia.
