When you go on vacation, you dream of all the delicious food that you're going to eat. While at home your life consists of salads and green vegetables (since you know that's what you should be eating), you want to give yourself a break when you go on a trip.

Going to Disney World is no different. It's the most magical, happiest place on Earth, as they say, and you're psyched to try the amazing food that this place has to offer.

The only problem? As magical and wonderful as Disney is, there are some menu items at the cafes and restaurants that people say that you shouldn't eat. They've either made some people sick or they're just not worth it. Of course, there are also some things that you absolutely have to try.

Here are 15 things you should definitely not eat at Disney World, along with five that you should.

20 The Pizza At Via Napoli Is Sometimes Burned

For many people, pizza is a perfect food. Well, maybe not for people with dairy allergies or for the lactose-intolerant... but otherwise, you would think that you could eat pizza anywhere at Disney World and be super happy.

As someone shared on Reddit, "Pizza at Via Napoli! We had such a disappointing meal! All our pizzas were burnt and bland, we had such high hopes too!"

19 Churros Are Always Good... But Not Here

Crispy, crunchy, soft churros are always delicious... right?!

Well, maybe not at Disney World. Jones Family Travels says that the churros at Disney aren't that great, so this is definitely another food item that you should skip on your next trip here. The blog says that they're "dried out." Gross.

You've probably seen a ton of photos of people walking around Disney World carting around these massive turkey legs. You might think that they are something that you would absolutely try.

Jones Family Travels says, "it actually looks pretty gross to walk around eating a giant bird limb." Yeah, that does sound super unappealing.

17 You Should Try The Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich With Nutella

Of all the food that you should definitely try at Disney, you should get a fresh fruit waffle sandwich that also has Nutella on it, according to Disney Food Blog. Sounds amazing, right?!

Nutella makes everything better, and if you're someone who believes that, then you can't miss out on this delicacy.

16 Someone On Reddit Got Sick After A Chilli Cheese Dog

Someone posted on Reddit that they got a chili cheese dog at Casey's Corner and it didn't work out too well for them as they got pretty sick.

That doesn't sound like a great way to spend your vacation at Disney. Of all the food that you could possibly order, you might want to skip this one so you can enjoy your trip.

15 Don't Order Lobster Shrimp Mac And Cheese

Someone posted on Reddit and said that Columbia House's Lobster Shrimp Mac and Cheese isn't worth ordering. And someone else wrote of the restaurant, "It's just generic frozen seafood, and one really bad crustless pot pie. I honestly think it's one of the worst quick service restaurants in WDW."

That definitely doesn't sound too good...

14 Skipper Canteen Beefy Baked Pasta Is Gross

Another person who has been to Disney posted on Reddit that this menu item has shredded beef in it. If you're going to serve baked pasta with meat in it, it shouldn't be shredded. That's just gross and that's a texture that you don't want to find inside what should be hot, delicious pasta.

13 But You Should Definitely Eat The Dole Whip

Maybe you've been to magical Disney World before and tried this Dole Whip and can totally confirm that it's awesome. Or maybe you've yet to travel there but have heard countless times that you have to try it.

We're here to tell you that, yes, it really is that good.

12 Don't Order The Bacon Cheeseburger At Cosmic Ray's

A burger is a safe bet anywhere, right? Sure, it can seem a bit boring to order this sometimes, but you generally assume it's going to at least be decent.

That's not the case with this particular burger at Disney. Someone on Reddit said that this burger didn't even seem to be mostly beef.

11 The Mickey Pretzels Are Dry

You should totally get the Mickey pretzels, right? Isn't that part of the experience of going to Disney?

Well, people say to skip this food item, too, as they're apparently really dry. That's just not pleasant. Even though the shape is super adorable, maybe they're only good for a photo op and then you can't take more than one bite.

10 The Eggs At One Place Are Apparently Super Wet

Someone on Reddit wrote that the Whispering Canyon Cafe's eggs are wet... and... we're just so grossed out right now.

Eggs should never be soggy or wet or any other word that you could use to describe something having way too much water. It's just not okay. Eggs need to be fluffy and delicious as they're one of the best foods ever.

9 The $12 Steak Is Said To Be Truly Bad

People on Reddit also say that the New York Strip Steak at ABC Commissary is bad. They also said that it's only logical that steak that costs around $12 would be disgusting.

The steak does look really unappetizing. It just doesn't have a good color to it.

8 The Train End's Buffet Is Said To Serve Cold Food

Buffets are pretty hit or miss. On the one hand, it's awesome to be able to get as much food as you want. On the other hand, if the food is cold or gross, it's not going to be a very great meal.

You should also skip the buffet at Train's End at Disney. If you love cold food, then sure, go ahead... but you probably want your food heated.

7 Definitely Don't Eat The Chicken Parm

Pinocchio Village Haus is said to serve gross Chicken Parm, and from that photo alone, it doesn't look super appetizing.

Chicken Parm is one of those dishes that can be really gross or really good. If it's cold or gummy in texture, it's not something that you want to even finish. It seems like you might want to make this at home or try it somewhere other than Disney.

6 You Should Eat The S’mores Breakfast Sandwich With Graham-Crusted Brioche

Woody's Lunch Box is said to have this absolutely delicious menu item. It looks and sounds so incredible.

What's not to love about a s'mores-inspired treat that is actually a breakfast sandwich? This is way better than bacon or eggs or some cereal and milk (no offense to those meals because they're awesome, too).

5 Please Don't Eat The Cold, Weird Salmon

Salmon might not be something that you want to order on your next trip to Disney. Okay, it's absolutely not.

Many people have shared online that the salmon at various restaurants at Disney is often served cold, which... is the worst thing to hear. You should skip it for sure and just order salmon when you get back home.

4 You Can't Visit Without Trying Coconut Waffles

When you're on vacation, waffles or pancakes are a must for your morning meal. They're more special than plain old dull toast and, again, you're on vacation, so it's a good idea to splurge.

Centertown Market is said to have incredible coconut waffles, according to Eater, and they do sound and look epic.

3 The Caramel Popcorn Is Stale

Someone also posted on Reddit that the caramel popcorn at Disney was stale, making this another food item to skip.

Imagine being so excited to enjoy some nice, crunchy, delicious popcorn while walking around Disney... and then getting a stale bag. Ugh. It doesn't sound worth it, so don't bother with this treat.

2 Skip The Cream Cheese-Stuffed Pretzels

What could be wrong with a pretzel stuffed with cream cheese? That should be delicious... shouldn't it?

As someone shared on Yelp of the pretzels at Disney, "I love butter, but this tasted like it was soaked in it or grease. I was splitting it with my boyfriend & we both kept telling each other, you can have the rest. We finally threw the rest of the pretzel away. Not a fan of the soggy pretzel."

1 You Should Eat The Ahi Tuna Nachos

Nachos are always a great idea, and there's an interesting take on nachos at Disney that you should definitely try.

Disney Food Blog says that the Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Animal Kingdom has great Ahi Tuna Nachos. You have to order them... but you don't have to share them with your family or friends.
