Getting around wasn't that hard early on. She was with the WWE’s developmental brand NXT. That meant staying put in Orlando and getting ground travel accommodations once it was time to work elsewhere. However, these days, she’s in full main roster mode, traveling across the US and the world. Given that she’s still so young and early into her career, she doesn’t have any of those luxurious perks just yet.

Given all those miles, Miz has free travel and accommodations listed in his contract, according to Total Sportek.

He isn’t flying back home to Los Angeles any longer. Alongside his wife Maryse, the two are now residing in Austin, Texas. Given the benefits of his WWE contract, the travel shouldn’t be problematic.

9 Don’t - Sasha Banks

via YouTube

Clearly, The Boss Sasha Banks isn’t traveling in luxury. For those that aren’t aware, we say clearly because Banks often complains about fans approaching her at the airport. If she was riding around in luxury, surely it wouldn’t be the case.

What annoys Banks the most about these interactions is when fans plan the meetup. For Banks, if the meeting a fan is spontaneous, that’s totally fine. However more times than not, fans get info on which flights the wrestlers are taking, this infuriates Sasha and many others. If she stays with the company long enough, she won’t have to encounter such a dilemma.

8 Luxury - NXT Superstars

via Pinterest

Seth is a rare exception of a wrestler living off the grid. He doesn’t have fancy flight accommodations either, often spotted by fans. When it comes to ground travel, Seth saves a couple of bucks traveling in a rental car with a couple of his peers. Not only does this cut costs but it creates a nice bonding experience.

6 Luxury - John Cena

via Babble Top

He lives by this statement “never give up.” John Cena’s story is an inspirational one, to say the least. In terms of ground travel, Cena was using a limousine back in the day before the WWE. The real kicker, he was the one driving people around in order to pay the bills!

Ironically, these days it works the other way around. When Cena appears on talk shows outside of the WWE, he usually does so with private ground accommodations. Cena fully embraces this lifestyle given the fact that he worked his tail off to get there, coming from very little. Well done John, you deserve it.

5 Don’t - Shinsuke Nakamura

The signing of Shinsuke Nakamura a couple of years back was a big deal for the WWE. He flew from Japan to Orlando, completely changing his schedule. The signing was a lot easier for Shinsuke earlier, especially due to the travel aspect. As we discussed earlier, working with NXT comes with a lot of benefits, especially in terms of travel.

via Pinterest

via YouTube

Arguably the best wrestler of this generation, AJ has the power to demand top tier flight accommodations. However, similar to The Undertaker, AJ is a simple man outside of the ring. When he heads back home, AJ isn’t going to a crowded hot spot area but instead, Gainesville, Georgia. A town with a population of just above 40,000 according to City-Data. That’s half the size of a WrestleMania crowd!

AJ travels back home like a regular WWE star. In terms of ground travel, as shown by the WWE Network series Ride Along, AJ rents a car while traveling with other wrestlers. He’s likely not doing so for cost saving but more so the comradery.

2 Luxury - The Rock

via GQ

In all likelihood when clicking this article, the first name you associated with travel and luxury was The Rock. Dwayne takes luxury to a whole other level. When he’s shooting films, not only does Dwayne fly in his private plane that comes with a personal chef but he’s also carrying an entire gym as well!

We’re not talking a couple of weights and benches. A fully stocked gym with every machine you can think of! He uses the facility while shooting his films. Fun fact, you must ask permission from Dwayne himself before entering the “Iron Paradise.”

1 Don’t - Ronda Rousey

via Celebzz

According to Total Sportek, Rousey does, in fact, have free travel on her contract. However, that doesn’t mean she’s taking full advantage of it. The reason so many WWE fans have embraced Rousey is her tendency to be like everyone else, without the special treatment.

She’s working a full-time schedule while getting the regular accommodations like the rest of the locker room. No fancy private jet or ground travel. Rousey is like the rest of them, even though she has the credentials to get full luxury travel commodities.
