The term “babymoon” has only recently become a trend. It is when an expecting couple decides to go away together on holiday, a few weeks or months before their bundle of joy arrives. I have already covered how amazing Miami is for a Babymoon and well, Amelia Island is yet another part of Florida that you may just want to consider if you’re heading east for your babymoon. The island has numerous sandy beaches with the perfect weather for any couple and you could also explore Centre Street as it offers antique markets, or tour the Victorian-era architecture that the island has to offer.

12 Honeymoon - Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town is one of the most visited cities in Africa and there is no wonder why. This beautiful South African city offers everything from culture, to beautiful beaches, an exciting nightlife and of course, a tour of one of the 7 Wonders Of The World on Table Mountain, the flat-topped mountain that resembles a table. The couple that honeymoons in Cape Town is a couple that wants adventure, thrill, and relaxation all at the same time. If you’re not too crazy about the beach honeymoon in tropical places or the European city honeymoon options that one can find in the already mentioned Paris and Florence, perhaps a honeymoon in Japan’s Kyoto will be just the right thing for you. In this list, we’ve covered many sandy beachy places, as well as tropical islands, European cities and South American and Asian must-see places. It can therefore take anyone by surprise to see this one on the list. Why Arizona? Well, like I mentioned in the beginning of the article, it all depends on what type of babymoon you’re into. As home to the Grand Canyon, the state offers plenty of enchanting landscapes that will charm any tourist. You might consider going to Scottsdale as it is in the heart of the Sonoran Desert and has some of the best resorts in the state.

Cambodia is situated in Southeast Asia and has plenty of beautiful places to visit for a couple that is into culture, exploring different arts and exotic cuisines. In the previous Babymoon spot, we spoke of Little Palm Island resort and how it’s perfectly secluded and offers you the ultimate peace and quiet. Well, if you’re a couple who needs adventure, excitement, culture, music, interesting cuisine and so much more on your babymoon, then Oaxaca, Mexico should be the perfect place for you. Oaxaca is a Mexican city that offers plenty of culture as it is the most diverse city in the country with plenty of local languages. The Bahamas can also be considered as the perfect babymoon spot because it simply has breathtaking views and one of the best places to relax and enjoy your time together as a couple before you have your little one. You can spend some time at the marketplace and get yourselves some souvenirs or just head out to one of the many luxurious resorts on Paradise Island to not do much but relax on the beach together, watch the sunset and look forward to this exciting new journey you’re about to face as a couple.
